I WISH I WAS THERE!

I have used a Paper Shelter digi called I Wish I Was There!, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  My papers are from the Echo Park Let's Be Mermaids pack.

The bunting is Jenni B; the birthday message, ice-cream truck and ice-creams are Creative Mates; and the hut and lounger are Express Yourself.  The bikini is made up of 2 Dress It Up buttons.  And lastly, the straw beach bag is Lulu's Scrapbooking.  It originally had a purple rose on it, but I pulled it off and added a tiny Jenni B flower instead.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #401: SPORTING OCCASIONS

It's time for a new challenge at Passion for ProMarkers, and this week, our very talented Donna has chosen: Sporting Occasions.

I chose this gorgeous little guy from our sponsor this week, Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He's called Candy Floss Crew Quentin, and I coloured him with ProMarkers.

My papers are from the DCWV All About Boys Stack.  The glittery stars are Little B stickers, and all the rest are Jolee's dimensional stickers.  I really love Jolee's stickers - not only because my cards tend to be theme focussed, but because for me, they're so great for male cards.  Where flowers can be used on female cards, these great stickers just complete male cards.

This week Little Miss Muffet Stamps are offering our lucky winner a $6 voucher for their store, so you don't want to miss out on this one!  Head on over to their store to see the cutest images, and don't forget to visit my Team Members' blogs to see what they've created to inspire you this week!

All you have to do is follow the theme, and use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products to enter.  I can't wait to see what you produce!

SHABBY SUMMER ROSES

This card is for my daughter-in-law's birthday.  My papers come from the Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics pack, and I have distressed the edges.  I love the soft look of these papers!  I have used two strips of lace, a pearl twisted ribbon and assorted roses, with random pearls dotted around.  The little frame is resin, left plain.

LEMON 60s

This is the first time I have used a Lemon Shortbread image, and I absolutely love her!! She is called Sixties Rock 'n Roll Girl, and I coloured her with ProMarkers.  The original image comes with a few more flowers around her, but I wanted the background, so I cut them off.  For the right vibe, you just have to listen to this in the background!

I felt her soft, 60s vibe needed a flower background, so I used a Cricut flower, which I layered several times, and cropped the bottom off.  The paper directly behind her is actually blue and pink smudges, from the DCWV Peri & Peach stack, but looks lilac on first glance.  The rest are plain cardstock.  I inked all the edges and added Stickles to the back base card.  The flowers are an assortment of Dress It Up buttons and Jenny B stickers, as well as tiny nail art stickers.  I've taken a close-up shot so you can see them properly.  I also added a few spots of Liquid Pearls.

PHYSICAL & SPIRITUAL STRENGTH

Card 2 for my 'male stash':  I chose a Paper Shelter digi called Physical and Spiritual Strength, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  My papers are from the DCWV All About Boys stack.  The karate elements are all Jolee's.  I've added a few odd buttons.  The pup is a Dress It Up button.  Lastly, I've added a yellow ribbon and a black ribbon, and tied the black one to resemble a black belt.

This was a super quick card to make: colouring a stamp, one sticker pack, one paper pack and a few odd buttons and ribbons.  I don't think I've ever made a card so fast!

OLD TIME BARTENDER

If you're anything like me, you have a boxful of female cards, but have to make male cards on demand.  This is my first card aimed at rectifying the problem!

I have chosen a KennyK digi called Old Time Bartender, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  My papers are from the Authentique Rugged collection.  I have used a Martha Stewart edge punch and two Tim Holtz background dies.  The bunting was cut on the Cameo.  The beer bottles and caps are Jolee's.

One down...hopefully several to go!

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #399: ADD A SENTIMENT

It's time for another challenge at Passion for ProMarkers, and this week your theme is: Add A Sentiment!  All you have to do is use your Winsor & Newton products (formerly Letraset), and make sure there's a sentiment somewhere on your creation.  It couldn't be easier!

I have used this adorable Bugaboo digi, called Hedgehog Flower, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  I have added Glossy Accents to the ladybirds and Stickles to the trail left by the flying ladybird.  I lightly sponged the background with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

My papers are from the Wild Rose Studio Dancing Daisies pack.  The sentiment is a Hot Off The Press stamp.  I added a tiny Eyelet Outlet ladybird brad to the sentiment, and one to the bottom left flower.  The flowers are 49 and Market and Prima.  The daisy (top left) is actually a soft rubber drawing pin - I just cut the pin off, and the other 2 little ones are Dress It Up buttons.  I also added a paper doily.

Well now it's over to you!

Bugaboo are offering our lucky winner a $12 voucher to spend in their store, so don't delay!  Head on over there to see their other adorable stamps, then get your entry in!

Looking forward to seeing your take on this week's theme!

A SHABBY CHIC CHRISTMAS

Today's card was a fairly quick make for me, as there was no stamping or colouring involved.  My papers (including the image) are from the Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics pack.  I have distressed all the edges and curled the bottom left corner.  I have added a strip of lace, pearls, ribbon and flowers.  That's it!  I SO love Maja Design paper!!

MONOCHROME CHRISTMAS

For this card I have used a Magnolia Santa, coloured with ProMarkers.  My papers are all from the First Edition Christmas Promise pack.  Noel is Fab Scraps chipboard, and the sleigh is a KaiserCraft wooden embellishment.  I have painted both with Prima Metallique Wax (Old Silver).

I have used 2 Bo Bunny doily dies, and ScrapBerry pearl swirls, which I cut apart to spread them around, plus a few odd pearls here and there.  There is also a piece of cheesecloth and a strip of Simplicity bobble trim, both of which I sprayed with Bo Bunny Sugar Glimmer Spray, to give them a greyish look, instead of pure white.

The silver leaves and most of the flowers are Prima.  I've also used Petaloo flowers, and Couture Creations 'bouquets'.  Looking at the photographs now, some of the flowers look a bit brown next to the darker little flowers, but they're actually all shades of grey.  In ProMarker terms, think Ice Greys compared to Warm Greys 😉

HAPPY COUPLE

I have been working on this card for weeks!  I wanted the chapel to exactly match the chapel the recipients would be getting married in, so I had to do lots of planning and measuring.

I have used a KennyK digi called Happy Couple, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  The background paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Coffee Talk collection.  The wood paneling papers are from the Kaiser Craft Base Coat pack.  The doors were created by cutting them from the Ornamental Iron Cricut cartridge, and then covering both sides with stiff clear plastic.  To stabilise the easel, I cut a strip from a cocktail kebab stick.

The rest are all stickers from Jolee's and the Mr & Mrs sentiment sticker is from Forever In Time.  I had originally posted pics with the signpost on the left in its original form - with the arrow under LOVE facing away from the couple, which seems a little odd to me: wedding this way, but love in the other direction!  I cut the arrow off and turned it around, so I have now replaced the original pics with updated pics.  I left the side-on pic as an original though.

COOKIES FOR SANTA

A playful Christmas card for me today:

I have used a Paper Shelter digi, called Cookies For Santa, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  I've added Stickles to the tinsel, and Glossy Accents to the baubles and glass of milk.  My papers are from the Bo Bunny Winter Wishes pack.

The frame behind the stamp is a Spellbinders die.  The glittery snowflakes are Little B stickers.  The little pup looking up at Santa and his friends at the window, is a Dress It Up button.  I've also added some Dovecraft glitter dots.

LILLY CAT FAIRY

Having made the mistake yesterday of making a card using a rubber stamp when I was supposed to use a digital stamp, I immediately set to work on this stunning freebie from Moonflower Digital Stamps.  She is called Lilly Cat Fairy, and I coloured her with ProMarkers.

My paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood collection.  My flourishes and doily were cut on the Cameo.  The butterfly is Petaloo.  I have used an assortment of flowers, including Green Tara, Petaloo and Bo Bunny.  I've also added a few pearls, lace and a lavender bow.
