PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #405: USE 3 PATTERNED PAPERS

It's time for a new challenge at Passion for ProMarkers, and this week Jacky has chosen the really fun theme of: USE 3 PATTERNED PAPERS!

For my card, I chose Alyssa Relaxing, and coloured her with ProMarkers.  She comes with the 'Pamper Yourself' sentiment.  She was cut out using a KaiserCraft die.

My 3 patterned papers come from two Fizzy Moon paper packs: the pink checkered paper from the Hearts and Flowers pack, and the lilac checkered paper and lilac dots, from the Birthday Wishes pack.

I decided to try a stepper card.  I've never made one before, and it was quite a lot of work measuring out each little piece of paper, but I love the final look of the card!  My embellishments are all Jolee's stickers, except for the rubber ducky, which is SandyLion.  I used White Opal and Lavender Lace Liquid Peals for her bubble bath, and added Glossy Accents to her glass and the bottle.  I inked her brick wall, using a Tim Holtz Layering Stencil, and drew her tiled floor.  'Today's the day' is a Lili of the Valley stamp.

CHRISTMAS ROO

I have used a Sasayaki Glitter digi called Christmas Roo, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  I added Glossy Accents to the gifts and Stickles to the bows.  My papers are from the Wild Rose Studio Wintry Christmas pack.  The sentiment is from the KaiserCraft Christmas Wishes pack.  The glittery corner is a Jeanine's Art die cut.

SHABBY CHIC LOVE

I decided to contrast my last card with something soft and pink.  My papers are from the Couture Creations Magnolia Lane pack.  I've distressed all the edges.  The flowers are mostly from my 'un-named stash', but the glittery ones are Prima.  I've cut up a few pearl swirls to place them how I want them.  They're a mix of Bella! Bling, Want 2 Scrap and Francheville.  The little heart pearls are Craft Consortium.  The other embellishments are Prima resin, which I've lightly painted with Vintage Silk Opal Magic Wax (Prima), and a dash of Prima Acrylic Paint Sparks (Butterfly Spells)

HELGA FROST

As I've mentioned before, I love steampunk!  I also love Prima Art Alchemy Magic Wax!!

For this card, I decided to give my background some texture by first using an embossing folder to create the brick wall, and then adding Reeves Modeling Paste to them.  Onto that I pasted a ripped sheet of DCWV corrugated paper.  My embellishments are Solid Oak Inc., Ribtex, Webster's Pages, Pima Finnabair, Tim Holtz and Artc.  I painted the whole lot with Bo Bunny black Gesso, and the Prima Art Alchemy Metallique Wax (Brushed Iron), and on the feathers, I added Opal Magic Wax (Blue Velvet).  I also decided not to fully cover the Gesso with the Metallique Wax, but rather, to let some black show through, to add a bit more depth and 'shadow'.  I am LOVING playing with this stuff!

I have used a pre-coloured KennyK digi, called Helga Frost.

SPRING SOUL

I have used a Paper Shelter pre-coloured digi, called Spring Soul.  She was cut out on my Cricut Explore.  The lacy frame around her was cut on the Cameo.  My papers and sentiment are from the Heartfelt Creations Wildwood Cottage collection.  The doily is a Poppy Crafts die, and the treble clefs are Marianne Design dies.  My flowers are mostly Prima.  The turquoise flower is Petaloo.  The large charms hanging from the bow are Ribtex Vintage.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #403: ADD PEARLS

It's time for another challenge at Passion for ProMarkers!  And this week, our very talented Elaine has chosen the theme: Add Pearls!

My very theme-focussed mind immediately thought of pearl formation, so I decided to head in this direction!  I have chosen a Magnolia stamp called Pisces Tilda, and coloured her with ProMarkers.  I did her little bubbles with Liquid Pearls, but once it dried, I wished I'd gone with little stick on pearls instead - they'd have been neater.  She has been cut out with a Spellbinders die.  I also used dies for the seahorse (Poppy Crafts), and bubbles (Magnolia Doohickeys).

The clam shell was cut from the Disney Princess Dreams Cricut cartridge.  I cut all the layers from white cardstock, and then coloured it with ProMarkers.  

Onto other goodies:

The pearls pouring from the shell are Tim Holtz; the rest of the sea life, shells and seaweed are Jolee's, Little B and Creative Mates dimensional stickers.  I also added Stickles, a strip of cheese cloth, and more little pearls as bubbles, as well as 3 Prima resin shells.

My paper is from the Bo Bunny Down by the Sea collection.

This is the first time I've made a card using this fold.  My sister recently did one, and I loved it so much, I thought I had to try it!

For this card I used a pre-coloured digi from The Paper Shelter, called Penguins Friends.  The frame around them is a Spellbinders die.  I've added a bit of Glossy Accents snow.  The paper is from the Dovecraft Christmas Decoupage & Paper Pad.  The pearl swirls are Want2Scrap.

MILKSHAKE

There have been several anniversaries in my family during the last few weeks, and amongst my Design Team too, actually!  I created this card for mine, using a KennyK digi stamp called Milkshake.  I have coloured the image with ProMarkers.

Since I normally make A5 sized cards, I don't often use 6 x 6 paper, because it's too small to cover the entire area - as you can see in my very badly lined up join! 🤦🏻‍♀️  Anyway... my papers are from the Nicola Storr Hugs With Henry paper pack, which is bigger than 6 x 6, but smaller than 8 x 8.  All the hearts and message on this card were cut on my Cameo.

VA VA VOOM!

For this card I used a Karen's Doodles digi stamp, called VaVaVoom, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  My papers are from the DCWV Delightful Stack.  My flowers are Prima.  The two corner hearts and the frame around the stamp were cut on the Cameo.  The heart strip was punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
