A REFRESHING DRINK

For this card I chose a Paper Shelter digi called A Refreshing Drink, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  The background paper is from the 49 and Market Sand and Sea collection.  The surf board hut, sun and palm tree are Creative Mates Stickers.  The sandcastle bucket and spades are Little B stickers, and the seagull is a Jolee's sticker.

ENGAGEMENT BLISS

This was a wonderfully quick and simple card to make.  My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Timeless Amour collection.  All elements were cut on the Cameo.  I've added some pearl swirls and a pearl and gems to the engagement ring.

HUNKYDORY LOVE

For this card I chose to use a topper from the Hunkydory Little Book of Anniversaries.  My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood collection.  The flowers are KaiserCraft and Cocoa Vanilla Studio.  The sparklies are a mix of Bo Bunny and  Prima Say it in Crystals.  The hearts were cut on the Cameo.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #409: MONOCHROME

Today we're launching a new challenge at Passion for ProMarkers, and our very talented Kitty has chosen the theme: MONOCHROME!

I chose to use Playing With The Snow, and I have coloured it with ProMarkers, and added Liquid Pearls to the snow.  The frame around her is a Spellbinders die, and I have inked the edges.  My papers are all from the KaiserCraft Frosted pack.  I distressed all the edges.  The doily is a Cameo cut, which I then sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist.  The lace is Bo Bunny, and the 3 snowflakes are brads.  My flowers are all 49 and Market.

KENNY'S HUG

I used papers from 3 different paper packs for this card:  The background turquoise is from the Bo Bunny Enchanted Garden pack, the purple is from the DCWV Lilac Love pack, and the blue is from the DCWV Zodiac pack.  The image is a KennyK digi, called Hug.  I have coloured them with ProMarkers.  The frame around them is from the Ornamental Iron Cricut cartridge.  The doily is Dovecraft.  I've also added a Prima 'Say it in Crystals' swirl, a strip of Simplicity heart lace, and a few odd pearls. My flowers are all 49 and Market.

THE AVIATOR

For this card I chose to use a pre-coloured digi from The Paper Shelter, called The Aviator.  He has been cut out on my Cricut.  My papers are from the DCWV Adventurer pack.  I have used a Ruby Rock-it stitching stamp on all the papers.  The gorgeous plane corner is an Amy Design die cut.  The starry border was done using a Martha Stewart punch.  I used the punched out stars for the tag.  The tag itself was cut using a Tim Holtz die, and stamped with a Hot Off the Press sentiment stamp.  The compass is an Eyelet Outlet brad, and the other decorative goodies are Bo Bunny brads.

The starry border section is on puffy pads, leaving a perfectly sized cavity for the tag to slip into.

FLOWER FAIRY

This weekend I went on a bit of a shopping spree at Time for Tea Designs.  I already had this gorgeous digi, called Flower Fairy, but I couldn't resist buying a few more.  They are just SO cute!

I have coloured her with ProMarkers.  My papers and the sentiment are from the Heartfelt Creations Wildwood Cottage collection.  The 4 butterflies are a set of dies by Cheery Lynn Designs.  The flowers are 49 and Market; Tim Holtz and Prima.  I've also added some cheesecloth, lace and a border of pearls around the image.

After all the male cards recently, I thought it was time to pop some 'soft' into the mix.  

I have used a Paper Shelter pre-coloured digi, called Catharine.  My papers are all from the Maja Design (of course) Vintage Spring Basics pack.  I've added lots of lace - some just popping out behind distressed edges of paper above them, and some cheesecloth.  My flowers are an assortment including KaiserCraft, 49 and Market, and Petaloo.  I've also added a few pearl swirls (Bella! Bling), and little random pearls all over.

SO CLASSY!

For this male card I chose to use a pre-coloured Paper Shelter digi, called So Classy!  I love The Paper Shelter!  The images are gorgeous, and they're such great value for money.  With pre-coloured digis and background paper included in the price you'd pay for just the black and white image elsewhere, you (read ' I ') feel like you just have to own them all!  I don't often use pre-coloured digis, but I recently printed off that I own, so I'd like to eventually use them all.  

Back to this card:

My papers are from the Authentique Rugged pack.  The tag was cut on the Cameo.  The pocket watch is a Jolee's embellishment.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #407: JUST ADD GLITTER

It's time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers, and this week our fabulous Karen has chosen the theme: Just Add Glitter!  

I decided to go for a Christmas card (you can't start too early on your Christmas cards!), and I decided to make a snow globe shaker card, filled with glitter.  

This week we are being sponsored by one of my FAVOURITE digi stamp shops: The Paper Shelter!

I chose Snow Maiden, which I have coloured with ProMarkers.  I used gel pens for the beads in her hair, Liquid Pearls for falling snowflakes, and Stickles on her dress.  The snow globe is a Precious Marieke cutting die, which I ran through twice - once for the backing and once for the glitter paper (DCVW Glitzy Glitter stack).  I then stuck my coloured image to the base and some Dovecraft Acetate to the glitter top.  I joined the 2 with puffy pads to create the cavity for my glitter.  The white background has been embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  I then added a few Queen & Co petite posies, and one Prima glitter dot.

I can't wait to see what you create with glitter this week!

SUNDAY STROLL

COLOURFUL BUSINESSMAN

FINALLY I am getting back to working on my 'male stash'!  I have made a few cards since I last posted, but they've had to be made in secret and kept hidden, because the recipients keep a close eye on my crafting creations, and I didn't want them to see them prematurely.  

This is the 2nd time I have made a card using this gorgeous Paper Shelter stamp, called Businessman.    He has been coloured with ProMarkers.  I decided to make this card bold and bright, but simple.  I had someone specific in mind - a family friend who is studying to be a Chartered Accountant (hence the 'accounting' type paper choice).  My papers are from the Bo Bunny Journal Collection Pack.  The laptop was cut on the Cameo.  The calculator, pen and pencil are Jolee's stickers, and the sentiment tag is an Atrwrap sticker, with a peel-off sticker message.
