PET LOVER'S CHRISTMAS 2017 7

The intended recipient of this card has so many different animals in her family, I decided to go with prints instead of animals for this Christmas card.  I had to draw the chicken prints by hand, but the dog and cat prints are KaiserCraft stamps.  The Merry Christmas was a magazine freebie stamp.

The paper is from the First Edition Christmas Promise pack.  The gem snowflake is Jolee's bling.

PET LOVER'S CHRISTMAS 2017 6

How adorable are these stamps!!!  These 3 little cuties are polymer stamps by Newton's Nook Designs.  I don't often use rubber stamps - digis are just so easy!  I also find that the black ink used to stamp the image, tends to run a bit when the markers go over it, which rarely happens with printed digis.

The bauble hooks were cut on my Cameo.  The paper is from the Wild Rose Studio Winter Bauble pack.  I framed the card with glitter tape and hung my baubles with ribbon and pre-made bows.

Lili Of The Valley is having a sale RIGHT NOW on their Simply Print images, and this morning I went a little nuts with them.  This one is called Over The Rooftops.  Over that I have added a Silhouette image, cut on my Cameo.  And that's it!

I must be honest, I don't love this card.  I think it's because it has 'cartoonish' elements and real photographs on it - and they just don't look right together.  The kitties on this card are photographs of the actual kitties who own the human who will be getting this Christmas card.  I imported them into Cricut Design Space and had the Cricut cut them out.  

The fireplace and gifts are Jolee's stickers.  The sentiment was created and cut on the Cricut too.  The floor paper is from the First Edition Christmas Wishes pack, and the stripes paper is from the DCWV Elegant Holiday pack.

PET LOVER'S CHRISTMAS 2017 2

The recipient of this card has a Labrador and 2 Westies.  

My papers are from the Dovecraft Christmas Basics pack.  I have added a gorgeous paw print ribbon by Offray.  The circle and scalloped circle are KaiserCraft die cuts.  The tree is wood and I inked the edges.  I used a Tim Holtz stencil to lightly ink the circle (they're Christmassy words).

The Lab is a Cameo cut and the Westies were part of a freebie stamp set from a magazine a few years ago, so I'm not sure who the supplier is.  The same goes for the sentiment.

A few pearls in the corners finished the card off.

PET LOVER'S CHRISTMAS 2017 1

I need to produce a series of Christmas cards for pet lovers.  I generally keep these quite simple, without my usual excessive embellishing.  We'll see how I go!

This card was almost entirely created with Silhouette images, cut on my Cameo.  My paper is from the KaiserCraft Base Coat pack.  The little wreath is actually a mini Christmas tree decoration - I just cut the string off.

AFTER PARTY

This is my 3rd post for the day, and my card for the 3rd person in our family, having a birthday today.  

I have used a Kenny K digi, called After Party, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  My papers are from the Couture Creations Hearts Ease pack.  My flowers and leaves are Little Birdie and Prima.  I've used a paper doily, a strip of lace and pearls, and a little metal hanger with girly goodies hanging from it, from Ribtex.

HOLIDAY TIME

This is my 2nd post for the day, and that's because we have 3 birthdays in our family today!  It's the busiest day of the year in our family, but not the only one with multiple birthdays!

This stamp reminds me so much of its recipient - young, blonde, beautiful and just a little too wild and free 😉.  The stamp is a Paper Shelter digi, called Holiday Time, and I have coloured it with ProMarkers. My papers are from the DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies Stack, the Nana's Kitchen Stack, and the Corrugated Stack.  I have used Petaloo flowers and Jolee's stickers, and cut the swirl (which reminded me of waves), the message cloud, the blue doily and the the bunting on the Cameo.

A SUMMER WALK WITH FRIENDS

We have a pet-sitter/dog-walker in our family, and today is her birthday.  I chose a Paper Shelter digi for her card, called A Summer Walk.  She's been coloured with ProMarkers.  I had to add some kitties to the card, because an animal lover's life isn't complete without them!  I loved the scene they created - watching the dog walk by, from behind the flowers.  The cats and the bird are Dress It Up buttons.

The heart frame and flourishes were cut on the Cameo.  My paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Pampered Pooch collection.  The dog bone is a Jolee's sticker.  The lace strip across the middle of the card is Ultimate Crafts; the flowers are Petaloo, Prima, 49 and Market, and Mont Marte.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #417: ANYTHING GOES

It's that time again!!  Time to whip out your ProMarkers and get crafting!  We have a new challenge on at Passion for Promarkers, and this week, Denise is stepping in for Donna, and has chosen your theme:

I chose to use Emmi Loo - Just Me.  I coloured her with ProMarkers.  My paper is from the 49 and Market Sand and Sea collection, as are the seaweed and seahorse.  The flowers are also 49 and Market.  The top rope netting is from the Couture Creations Sea Breeze collection.  The top right gem swirl is Bella! Bling, and the glittery dots are Prima.

SOFT ANNIVERSARY

Today's make is an anniversary card.  I used several dies on the card: Sizzix hearts; Kaisercraft cherry blossoms, and a Cheery Lynn scroll.  The smaller heart and the scroll are raised.  

The message is a KaiserCraft stamp.  The background paper is from the Bo Bunny Madeleine pack, and I've distressed the edges.  I've added flowers and pearls from my stash.

SEXY HANDYMAN

Time for another male card!  For this one I used a KennyK digi stamp, called Handyman.  The wooden floor has been drawn, and the wall created with a Tim Holtz stencil and Distress Inks.  The background paper and metal frame are KaiserCraft.  The other little metal embellishments and chain are Solid Oak Inc.  The toolbag is Jolee's.

MAJA'S BOY

I haven't had the chance to do too much crafting lately, as life outside my craft room has nastily intruded, but I managed to whip this up yesterday.

As the post's title suggests, I have used Maja Design papers on this card (one of my favourite designers), from the Vintage Baby pack.  I have distressed all the edges.  I've added a strip of Simplicity lace, some baby-design KaiserCraft wooden embellishments, which I've painted white, and a stunning little Cheery Lynn Designs die cut pram.
