Good Morning lovely crafters!

This week at Penny's, we have 2 fantastic prizes up for grabs!  Our sponsors this week are:

I have used a super sassy image from Oddball Art on my card.  It's called Big Eye Chibi Girl With Speech Bubble.  I have coloured the image with markers, and added in the sentiment.

My papers are from the Maja Design Denim & Friends pack.  I have distressed and inked all the edges.  I used a Fiskars decorative scissors to roughly cut out my image.

The wooden elements on my card are KaiserCraft.  I've also added a strip of lace and a ribbon.  My flowers are Prima, Green Tara, and 49 and Market.  I've also added two little enamel dots by Echo Park.

Good Morning Paper Shelter fans!

This week our theme for you is:
IT'S A SPRING THING

I love Spring!  It's so beautiful!  One of the wonderful things about Spring is getting outdoors and enjoying the sunshine and flowers.

I have used a super cute image on my card, called Happy.  I have coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the DCWV Bouquet De Fleur pack.  I've used a set of Spellbinders dies to cut out the papers and image.  I've added 2 little dragonflies, a strip of flower lace and a doily from my stash, as well as a strip of cheesecloth.

My flowers are an assortment of Prima, Green Tara and Celebr8.

We have our usual fantastic prize up for grabs this week!  You could win a $30 gift voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your creation - it could be the black and white digi, like I've used, the pre-coloured image or the paper, or 3 digi images of your choice, if you've used another brand.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #486: FOR A CHILD/ADD STITCHING

Good Morning Promarker fans!

Our latest challenge has gone live and we have a choice of themes for you this week:

Elaine has decided that you can either make something for a child, OR add stitching to your creation (real or faux).  Of course, you could do both!

Up for grabs this week is a $6 store voucher from

I decided to go with both themes.  I've made a card for a birthday boy using an image from Kenny K, called Victory Boy.  I have of course, coloured the image with Promarkers, but for the first time, I used a different set of colours for my skin tones, and I'm THRILLED with the results!

I used:
Skin: Violet (😱 I know!!!); Spice; Soft Peach; Oatmeal; Blush; Almond
Hair: Burnt Sienna; Raw Sienna; Caramel; Sandstone
Red: Burgundy; Cardinal Red; Ruby; Lipstick Red
Blue: True Blue; Azure; Arctic Blue; Powder Blue
Grey: Cool Greys 2 - 5
White: Cool Greys 1 - 3

My papers are from the Echo Park Bark pack.  For my stitching, I used a series of Poppy Crafts stitched frames to cut out my papers and sentiments.  I've added a few enamel dots and teeny stars, as well as a few no-name stickers.

Well, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you create this week!  For a little more inspiration, pop back to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have created.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look!

BOOK STACK

I recently signed up on Patreon, and became a patron of Krista Smith.  Finding her art available on Etsy a while ago, made me VERY happy!  This is one of the images sent out to Krista's patrons in March.  It's called Book Stack.  We have several teachers in our family, so I was instantly drawn to this image.

I have coloured the image with markers, and created the background with a Tim Holtz stencil and Distress Inks.  My papers are from the Craft & You Design I Love Vintage pack.  The school goodies are Jolee's.  I have also added a few enamel dots.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #422

Good Morning Crafters!

This week at Penny's we have 2 fabulous prizes up for grabs!  We are being sponsored by

Prize TBA

and

giving a $10 store voucher

I had the privilege of working with a Time For Tea Designs image, called Phoebe And The Flutterby.

I have coloured the image with markers, and decided to use it as my focus of this month's Kit & Clowder markers class.  With so much going on in my image, I decided to keep my card design as simple as possible, so all I've done is layer it onto different coloured frames and add 2 sentiments.  Blessings is a Poppy Crafts die cut, and the beauty sentiment is a KaiserCraft stamp, on a Poppy Crafts die cut tag.

The girls at Penny's have created some beautiful cards, showcasing our sponsor images this week, so pop back to the challenge to see!

Thanks so much for popping in for a look!

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS LEILANI

Are you feeling Spring in the air yet??  Where I live, we're just beginning to feel the temperature drop a little, and Autumn is on it's way!

This sweet image from Digi Doodle Studios is called Leilani.  I have coloured the image with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut her out.

My paper is from a freebie pack that came with a craft magazine.  I've added a strip of lace and a soft pink ribbon and pre-made bow.  The doily was created by my mum.

The letters 'joy' are foam stickers by American Crafts, and the flowers are all Jenni B stickers

Don't forget we have our monthly challenge on the blog, where the theme for the month is to use a Spring colour palette.  Click below to see what we've created to inspire you this month.

We also have a monthly Anything Goes with a Digi Doodle challenge in our FaceBook group, so be sure to share all your Digi Doodle Studios creations with us there.  You'll get to see loads of inspiration in the group too!

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #421

Good Morning Everybody!

This week at Penny's, we have a fabulous prize up for grabs, from:

I have used elements from both the pre-coloured and uncoloured versions of Emma The Mermaid on my card.  I have coloured Emma herself and the two seahorses with markers.  The rest of the image is from the pre-coloured set.  I typed up the sentiment myself though.

My papers are from the Bo Bunny Down By The Sea pack.  I've used a Creative Dies die for the tag and added a dolphin charm and a strip of cheesecloth.  I've used a Magnolia die for the bubbles and a Find IT Trading frame die for the bottom corner.

My flowers are 49 and Market, and there's another piece of cheesecloth beneath the image.

As usual, the rest of the team have created stunning cards with more images from our fantastic sponsor this week, so use our banner at the top of the page to head back to the blog to check them out.

Here are a few close-ups of mine:

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #374: DIGITAL IMAGE

Good Morning Paper Shelter lovers!

This week at The Paper Shelter, we'd like you to use a DIGITAL IMAGE.

I have used this super fun image called Venus Flytrap.  I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out using a Poppy Crafts stitched edge die.

My papers are from the DCWV The Guy Stack.  I typed up the sentiment and cut it out with another Poppy Crafts die.

The gardening goodies are all Jolee's.  I've also added a few pearls.

As usual our winner this week can win a $30 gift voucher, if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry - it could be the black and white digi, the pre-coloured image or the paper, or 3 digi images of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.
