BIG GUY GOLFING

 I have a few male cards on my to-do list, so a simple male card from me today, using a super image from Mo's Digital Pencil, called Big Guy Golfing.

I've coloured the image with markers and gone for a super simple card design, using papers from the PhotoPlay Fetch paper pack.

I've added a full set of Jolee's dimensional stickers with a golfing theme, and really, that's all the card needed.

ROOTED IN CHRIST

 I decided to make this a bridge-fold card specifically to accomodate the 'Rooted in Christ' banner.  Both it and the fantastic Bible are Jolee's, and I've had them sitting in my sticker box for years.  Recently a young man in our family has been ordained as a minister, and I thought they'd be perfect for his birthday card.

My paper is from the DCWV The Timeless Type Stack paper pack.  

The image is called Reading Boy by Krista Smith.  I added the 'Holy Bible' to his book and coloured the image with Copics.

I typed up the sentiment - a beautiful benediction from Numbers 6:24 - 26, using LD Wedding Ornate font.

I've added a few America Crafts puffy dots.

THE PAPER SHELTER 2021 SUMMER BREAK CHALLENGE: ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning lovely crafters!

It's time for our Summer Holiday challenge, and that means ANYTHING GOES for you!

This gorgeous image is called Maggie.  I have coloured her with Copics.  

My papers are from the Echo Park Coffee and Friends collection.  I used a Paper Rose tag die for the tag shaped paper.  I've added a strip of Birch lace and Green Tara flowers.  There are also a few Carta Bella enamel dots in there.

This challenge will run for 4 weeks, without any commenting, but there's still an opportunity to win a fantastic prize!

I've decided to celebrate LOVE this week, with an Anniversary card.  I've used Unknown Dancers on my card, and coloured the image with Copics.  

First a brief story: I love to dance!  Too many years ago to mention, my husband agreed to take Latin American dance classes with me, and one of the dances we learnt to do was the tango.  I loved every second of it, until one day I chose to wear open shoes to the class, rather than closed toe shoes, and as my hubby stepped forward, the sole of his shoe slid across the top of my foot, and hooked my toenail, ripping my toe and ending our class with a fair bit of angry muttering.  Entirely my fault of course.

Other than the memory of that day though, the tango always bring s a smile to my face and holds a special place in our hearts, and this image has always reminded me of our tango days.

On that note, have you watched the movie Scent of a Woman?  Not only does it show Al Pacino at his absolute finest, but there's a tango scene in the movie that is positively beautiful.  My hubby and I used to put that movie on in the background while we practiced our tango at home 🥰

Time for my card!

My paper and the tag are from the Stamperia Passion paper pack.  I've distressed and inked the edges.  I've added Prima flowers and a few pearls.  I found a teeny pre-made bow in my stash, which I've added to the tag.  The hearts are Celebr8 laser cuts, which I've coloured with markers.

PAPER NEST DOLLS CRAFTING AVERY

I just love finding images with a 'crafting' theme, because we all know so many fellow crafters and an image for a card for one of them is actually quite hard to find.  This one is called Crafting Avery.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a sheet of pearlescent cardstock from the Core'dinations Gemstones paper pack, to frame the image and papers.

My papers are from the DCWV Fairytale Floral paper pack.  The sentiment is an Art Impressions stamp from the Crafty Girls set.

I've added a satin ribbon and flowers from I Am Roses, as well as a few little flower buttons and a few KaiserCraft pearls.  The fabulous crafty stickers are from the PhotoPlay Crafting With My Gnomies collection.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS HOLIDAY MICE PAIRABLES

We're celebrating Christmas in July at Digi Doodle Studios, and today I have a card to share using the Holiday Mice Pairables set.  These sets are full of images and sentiments, to mix and match.  The possibilities are endless.

I've used the adorable Cocoa Cup Mouse, the gifts and one of the sentiments on this card.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used papers from the Maja Design Christmas Season paper pack.  

I've added a strip of lace and a fun Christmas ribbon I received as part of a gift from one of my crafty DT friends.  I've also added a few enamel dots.

OLYMPIC DAD

 I have a Father's Day card to share today, using a fun image from Kenny K, called Olympic Runner.

I have coloured the image with markers and used a white gel pen to add a few 'white hot' flames.  My papers are from the Simple Stories Dad paper pack, and the sentiment tag and chequered stripes are from the PhotoPlay Best Dad Ever collection.  I've added a few pearls.

CUTE AS A BUTTON MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE

This gorgeous image comes with a few extras, which I chose not to use for this card.  The image is called Mediterranean Cruise.  I have coloured it with Copics, and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My papers are from the Maja Design Little Street Cafe paper pack.  

I've used several elements from a Celebr8 laser cut set and coloured them all with a black marker - the sentiment, and corner designs.  My flowers are Green Tara.

I've then added a bow with a Tim Holtz heart attached.
