PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #607: ADD A SENTIMENT

 

Good Morning my crafty friends!

We have a fun new challenge on the go at Passion for Markers this week, and a super sponsor offering up a prize for our lucky winner!

Our theme for the week is:

ADD A SENTIMENT

2 digi images from 

I love Dr. Digi's images!  Every one is fun!

I've used Rise and Shine on my card.  I've coloured the image with Copics, added a few highlights with a white pencil and given him a bit of stubble with a black pen.

I used the following Copics:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000

Hair & Shorts: N8; N6; N4

Shirt: BG78; BG75; BG72; N8

Vest & Socks: W4; W3; W2; W1

Eyes & Coffee: E35; E31

Ground: E44; E43; E42

Background: E41

Cup: B00; B000; B0000, C2; C1; C0

My papers are from the DCWV Palms and Ferns paper pack, and my all important sentiment is an Art Impressions stamp, from the Dance it Out set.  I've used a Paper Rose die to cut out the sentiment, and inked the edges.

I've added a Ribtex glitter dot and a plain dot.  The fantastic coffee machine is a Houseworks Miniature.

Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have a lovely, easy challenge for you this week!  Our theme for the week:

COLOUR IT!

This means we'd like to see hand coloured images this week.

I've chosen one of the older images in store, and gone with a coffee themed card.  The image is called Coffee Break.

I have coloured my image with Copics, distressed and inked the edges, as well as those of my papers, which are from the Heartfelt Creations Coffee Talk paper pack.

My flowers are Green Tara and the cup and coffee bean are Eyelet Outlet brads.  I've added a recycled ribbon from my stash, a strip of bobble lace and a few pearls, to finish things off.

PAPER NEST DOLLS MOTORCYCLE OWEN

Father's Day is in September in Australia, and the father I created this for, is into anything with an engine, specifically motorcycles.

The image is called Motorcycle Owen, and I have coloured it with Copics.  I've drawn in a forest background for him, and used a Poppy Crafts die to frame the image.  

My papers are from the DCWV Spiced Cider paper pack.  

I've added some twine and a few Prima Say it in Crystals dots.

I've used two different sentiments for this card.  The top sentiment is a Hunkydory stamp, and the bottom sentiment is an Altenew stamp.

Good Morning crafty friends!

We have a fun new challenge on the go at Passion for Markers, and our lovely Kitty has chosen your theme.  This week we'd like you to

ADD A TAG

to your creation

Up for grabs this week are 3 digi images from

I have used adorable little Mia on my card.  I have coloured the image with Copics, and thankfully, this time I remembered to make a note of which colours I used along the way, so I could share them with you:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000

Hair: E57; E55; E53

Blue: B06; B04; B02; B01

Black: C9; C7; C5; C3

White: C2; C1; C0

Ground: N4; N3; N2

My papers are from the Echo Park Coffee and Friends collection.  The collection also comes with stickers, so I added a few of those too.  

My tag was cut using a Poppy Crafts die, and the sentiment is cut from one of the papers in the same collection.  I've used an Offray ribbon for the tag.

Lastly, I added one little Green Tara flower.

CUTE AS A BUTTON PEACE OF GOD

This beautiful image comes with an equally beautiful sentiment, which I've decided not to use on my card.  The image is called Peace of God, and I have coloured it with Copics.  She reminds me of my daughter a few years back.

My papers are from the Craft & You Design Bellissima Rosa paper pack.  I've used a Bo Bunny die for the doily, which I cut in half to use in the two spots.  The swirly heart is a Poppy Crafts die cut.  The negatives from the swirls were so pretty, that I decided to add them as well.  

My flowers are Prima and I Am Roses.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NIXIE MERMAID

This gorgeous image is called Nixie Mermaid.  I have coloured the image with Copics, and then used Distress Ink and a Creative Expressions stencil to create the sun rays through the water.

I've used a Craft Emotions scalloped rectangle die to frame the image.

My paper is from the Studio Light Jenine's Mindful Art Collection.  It's such a pity so much of it is covered up, because it's SO pretty!

I've added a sheer ribbon and tied off a bow; KaiserCraft and Green Tara flowers; and KaiserCraft wood ebllishments, which I've sprayed with while Gesso. I've also wrapped the image with a string of pearls and  added a few pearl swirls.

PAPER NEST DOLLS BEDTIME EMMA

 

This was a quick, simple card for me.  

This sweet image from Paper Nest Dolls, is called Bedtime Emma.  I have coloured the image with Copics.  I used a resist technique on her gown and on teddy.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Climbing Clematis Collection.  I loved the paper so much, that I didn't want to add anything to cover it.  All I've added is a giant bow in sheer ribbon, which I've threaded through with eyelets, and a sentiment stamped from a freebie set that came with a craft magazine.
