THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #499: SHADES OF BLUE

Good Morning lovely crafters!

I hope you had a good Valentine's Day, whether it was spent with your special someone, or your favourite things.  This week we're going with a colour theme for you at The Paper Shelter.  Our theme for the week is:
SHADES OF BLUE

This gorgeous image is called Giselle.  I have coloured the image with Copics and used a My Favorite Things stencil with Distress Ink to create her background.

My papers for this card are from the KaiserCraft Wandering Ivy paper pack.  The little strip of blue lace across the bottom is a sticker from the pack.  I used a Spellbinders die to cut the floral paper.

I've used a Blue Fern Studios laser cut mesh, which I've sprayed with white Gesso.  I've then added a bow and a little Ribtex heart charm.

My flowers are 49 and Market, and my enamel dots are Carta Bella.

Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize!  Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look!

Up for grabs this week are 2 digi images from our generous sponsor

I love brown combos, and for this one I've gone with blue and brown as my favourites.

I love Dr. Digi images.  Every one of them makes me laugh.  The one I've used for this card is called Slam  Dunk Duncan.  I have coloured the image with Copics, using the following colours:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000; R20
Hair: E49; E47; E44; E43; E42
Blue: B99; B97; B95; B93; B91
Brown: E44; E43; E42; E41; E40
White: W2; W1; W0
Ball: E15; YR27; YR24
Ground: T4; T3; T2; T1

My papers for this card came from two paper packs: Maja Design Denim & Friends, and Echo Park Basketball.  The sentiments are all stickers from the Echo Park set.

I have punched eyelets through the paper and tied off with paper twine.  I've also added a few Doodlebug Design enamel dots.

The girls have put together a fun set of inspiration cards this week, using their favourite colours, so be sure to pop over for a look.

Thanks for popping over to see mine!

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #497: FOR THE ONE YOU LOVE

Good Morning lovely crafters!

It's the month of love and it's time to get crafting for that special someone.  Our theme for the week at The Paper Shelter is:
FOR THE ONE YOU LOVE

I have gone with one of the adorable older images in store, from the Giraffes on Holidays set.  This set has  four separate giraffe images, so it's huge value for money!

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches rectangle die to cut it out.

My paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Climbing Clematis paper pack.  There's a strip of cheesecloth behind the image and I've also looped a Memory Box heart circle die cut over the corner of the image rectangle.

I've added a strip of lace across the middle of the card and a little bow, as well as Green Tara and I Am Roses flowers.  I've finished off with a few Carta Bella enamel dots.
