PANSY POTTER

This fantastic image from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps is called Pansy Potter.  I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My papers are from the PhotoPlay Notting Hill Book Store paper pack.  The kitty and two plant pots are from the same collection.  The corner flower and sentiments are die cuts from the Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl! collection.  I've also added a few Echo Park enamel dots.

I plan to use silver peel off letters to put the name of the beautiful woman I'll be sending this card to, on the little blue panel.  I have some of her pottery in my home.

Thanks for popping in for a look today.

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #651: LET'S HAVE SOME PINK

Good Morning my fellow crafters!

We have a super theme this week, chosen by our lovely Elaine:
LET'S HAVE SOME PINK

Our generous sponsor this week:

I decided to go with a clean and simple Anniversary card this week, using Bundle of Hearts.

I have coloured the image with Copics, using the following colours:

Pink: RV14; RV13; RV11; RV10
Fir: E57; E35; E33; E30
Nose: E79; E77; E74; E71
Blue: B00; B000; B0000

I have typed the sentiment directly onto the image panel, in LD Wedding Ornate font.

The background was created using a Picket Fence Studios stencil and Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Spun Sugar).  To finish off, I added a few Paper Boutique pearls.  I have then mounted the image panel onto my pink base card, using foam squares.

So... no Design Paper for me at all this week!

I hope you'll pop over to see what the rest of the team have created to inspire you this week.

Thanks for popping in to see my card.

THE PAPER SHELTER 2022 SUMMER BREAK CHALLENGE: ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning lovely crafters!

It's time for our Summer Holiday challenge, and that means ANYTHING GOES for you!

I've chosen a gorgeous Summery image for this one, called Coconut.  I have coloured the image with Copics and added in a bit of a background for her.

My paper is from the Asuka Studio Dusty Blue Floral paper pack.

For a bit of softness, I've added a strip of Simplicity lace and a doily crocheted by my Mom.  I've cut the doily in half, to use it in two different places.  I've also added I Am Roses flowers.

Next, I've added a Prima Shabby Chic Treasures resin shell, and Echo Park enamel dots.

This challenge will run for 4 weeks, without any commenting, but there's still an opportunity to win a fantastic prize!

Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize!  Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Hoping you enjoy every moment of your crafting this month!

Thanks for popping in!

RECLINING DAD

This fantastic image is an Art Impressions stamp from the Sit Back Laugh Lines set.

I coloured the image with Copics and first had a problem with the E20s that I chose for the chair, and then with the E70s that I chose instead as well.  I needed to get this card in the mail, and didn't have time to start over AGAIN, so I declared this couch well-loved and damaged, and moved on.  I have now ordered a new set of each of my E combos, because it seems my nibs have all gone a little goopy at the same time.

My papers and sentiment for this card came from the Echo Park Petticoats & Pinstripes paper pack.  I've added a few Prima Say it in Crystals glitter dots.

Thanks for popping over for a look today!

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #649: CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Good Morning crafters!

Our lovely Natalie has chosen your theme for this week:
CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Our sponsor this week is:

and they're offering 1 stamp set from those in stock to our lucky winner.

I've chosen to use one of the adorable Crissy Armstrong images from Whimsy Stamps for my card.  The image is called Christmas Kiss.

I have coloured the image with Copics, using the following colours:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000; R20
Her Hair: E59; E57; E55; E53
Her Eyes: E57; E55; E53
Her Lips: E04; RV34; RV32
His Hair: E49; E47; E44; E43
Red: R89; R29; R27; R24; R22
White: C3; C2; C1; C0
Black: C9; C7; C5; C3
Green: YG67; YG63; YG61
Gold: Y28; Y26; Y23; Y21; Y13

The background was created using a My Favorite Things stencil and Distress Ink.

My papers are from the PhotoPlay Kringle & Co paper pack.  I've added a silver ribbon from my stash and made a little bow.

The sentiment is an Echo Park chipboard sticker; the baubles are Jolee's and the little glitter dot is Prima.

This is a great opportunity to get an early start on your Christmas cards.  If you need a few ideas, pop over to the challenge blog, to see what the rest of the team have created to inspire you this week.

Thanks for popping over!

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #519: GOING DIGITAL

Good Morning lovely crafters!

This week at The Paper Shelter, we're GOING DIGITAL.  That means you have to use a digital image, rather than a stamped image, in the challenge.

I've chosen I May Have Exaggerated A Bit for my card.  She's actually a Halloween image, but I desperately wanted to colour her hair, so I removed all Halloween references, other than the kitty, and drew hair lines back in.  Once she was coloured, I used a Creative Dies stitched oval die to cut her out.

My paper is from the Asuka Studio So Sweet paper pack.  I decided to stamp the sentiment directly onto the paper, which always terrifies me, but it worked well, thankfully.  The sentiment is a Practical Publishing freebie stamp.

I've added I Am Roses flowers and Simple Stories enamel dots.

I apologise for the terrible light in this last picture.  The sun disappeared as I took it.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look!

Lili's Anniversary

I have an Anniversary card to share today, using an adorable image from Lili of the Valley, called Showered With Love.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used papers from the DCWV Fairytale Dreams paper pack.  I've distressed my paper edges and used Gathered Twigs Distress Ink on all the edges.

The tag was made using a Creative Dies wonky stitches die and tied off with a spare piece of ribbon I had in my stash.  I used a Precious Marieke die for the top left corner.

My flowers are a mix of 49 and Market and I Am Roses, and I've added a few KaiserCraft pearls and a strip of cheesecloth.

Thanks for popping in for a look today!
