I adore dolphins!
I think everyone loves dolphins, but I had the privilege to not only swim with dolphins while we were on a Caribbean cruise many, many years ago, (the day I fell in love with them), but I also lived right on the beachfront along the Dolphin Coast for several years. We had dolphins swim past every single day and I NEVER got tired of seeing them! I have THOUSANDS of photographs of dolphins!
My family would probably describe me as a little obsessed, to be honest, because for 9 years living there, every single time I saw dolphins swimming by, I would shout out, ' DOLPHINS!!!' then rush outside with my camera. I just didn't want to miss them, and didn't want anybody else to miss them either. What a privilege!
This gorgeous image is one of the brand new releases at Digi Doodle Studios. It's called Malibu Rain.
I've doubled up and flipped one of the images so that I could have two of them facing each other. I've coloured them with markers and added in an ocean behind them. I've used a Sizzix heart die to cut them out, and to cut the other heart behind the image.
My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood pack. I wanted to keep the papers 'softer' than the image, so it would pop. My flowers are Green Tara and 49 and Market.
I've added several laser cuts: the bubbles and seaweed are Scrapaholics; the little heart shaped reeds on the top left are 2Crafty; the sentiment is KaiserCraft. I've sprayed them all with white Gesso. The white swirls are Anna Belle embellishments. I've also added a strip of white wispy stuff and tiny shells collected on our beachfront.
