PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #440: BUTTONS AND/OR BOWS

Hi Everybody!

We have a fabulous new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers today!  Karen has chosen your theme, and she'd like you to use buttons or bows on your creation.

We're being sponsored by
this week, and they're giving away a £10 voucher to their store!

I'm super excited to show you my creation this week!  My card evolved the more I thought about it!

I chose to showcase Sketchy Flower Frames.  I couldn't decide which one I liked best, so I decided to use all 4.  I then thought that I didn't really want to make a 'serious' floral card, because I've made a few of those recently, so to add a bit of fun, I added 3 little fairies to the flower frames: Flutterby Fairy to the top 2 frames, and Fairy and Unicorn and Sweet Fairy to the bottom 2 frames.

I have created a garden fence with frames cut out of it, through which you can see the field beyond.  The beautiful flowers in the field are poking through the frames in the fence, and weeny fairies are playing in the frames.  The images are all coloured with Promarkers.  I've added Stickles to the fairy wings and magic wand.

The 'fence' paper is from the 49 and Market Sand and Sea pack.  The trees framing and hanging over the fence, were cut on my Cameo, as was the grassy border in front.  The ivy growing up the fence is a border sticker.  The white flowers at the top of the ivy, and those amongst the grassy border are Jenni B.

And last, but not least, I added loads of buttons to the trees, to meet our theme, along with a few Liquid Pearl dots.

I hope you'll play along with us this week!  All you have to do is use your Winsor & Newton markers and follow the theme.  You certainly don't need to go quite as nuts as I did, adding your buttons or bows - even one will do!  Easy Peasy!

Linda
