THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #527: BUTTONS AND/OR BOWS

Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have a fun one for you at The Paper Shelter this week!  We'd like to see
BUTTONS AND/OR BOWS

I've used one of the gorgeous newer images in store, called Intertwined Hearts.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies Wonky Stitches die to cut it out.

My paper is from the Stamperia Vintage Rose paper pack.  I decided to go with a clean and simple card, so all I've added is a bow from my stash and two little W & M buttons.

Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize!  Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Thanks for popping in!

Linda

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #659: USE A RUBBER STAMP

Good Morning colourists!

This week at Passion for Markers, our lovely Lisa has chosen the fun theme of
USE A RUBBER STAMP.

Up for grabs this week, we have a fantastic prize from

I don't often use rubber stamps, but I do buy them!  So this is a fantastic opportunity to use one of the gorgeous stamps I've bought: Stamping Bella's Curvy Girl is Busy.

I have used so many colours on this image, I thought it would be best to take close-up pics, to list my colours, rather than just type up one long list.  So here goes:

I have used the following Copics to colour this image:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000; R20
Hair: E47; E44; E43

BV04; BV01; BV000

YG09; YG05; YG01

C4; C2; C0

R29; R24

E15; Y38; Y35; Y32

YG97; YG95; YG93

E43; E42; E41; E40

E18; YR18; YR16; YR12

RV02; RV00; RV000

Cell Phone: BV29; BV25; BV23
Jacket & Shoes: RV99; RV95; RV93; RV91
Skirt: E79; E77; E74; E71; E70
Ground: E44; E43; E42
Background: E41

I've framed the image with a Creative Dies Wonky Stitches die cut rectangle.  My paper is from the Stamperia Garden of Promises paper pack.  I've used a Find It Media Amy Design set of dies for the bow, and a Find It media Yvonne Creations set of dies for the stationery.

My flowers are 49 and Market, and I've added a few Fancy Pants Designs puffy dots.

The girls have a super showcase for you to see on the blog, so be sure to pop over for a look.

Thanks for visiting today!

TOGETHER

This beautiful image is by Krista Smith.  It's called Together.  Perfect for an Anniversary card, I think.

I have coloured the image with Copics and then distressed and inked the edges.

My papers are from the Stamperia Garden House paper pack.  I've distressed and inked the edges of the papers too, using Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs.

I've added a strip of lace from my stash and two Celebr8 laser cuts.  My pearls are Bo Bunny.

Thanks for popping in to see my card!

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #525: WATERWISE

Good Morning lovely crafters!

This week at The Paper Shelter, we'd like to see any creation connected to water.  Our theme for the week is:
WATERWISE

Your water connection could be indoor, like washing dishes or laundry, or taking a bath, or outdoors, like rain, a pond or the ocean.

I have used Pineapple on my card.  It's such a beautiful image that makes me feel peaceful and happy.

I have coloured the image with Comics.

My paper and the picture frames and tag are all from the Ciao Bella The Sound of Summer paper pack.  I've added a strip of lace, and placed a piece of cheesecloth behind the image.

My flowers are all 49 and Market.  I've then added a few Memory Box dew drops, scattered around the card.

LOVED UP

Did you take advantage of the MASSIVE sale at Lili of the Valley back in May?  Even though I already had quite a list of LOTV images, the sale was too good to pass up, so I did.  That got me looking through all the LOTV images I had already bought, and I decided to use this one for an Anniversary card.  The image is called Loved Up.

Now this image comes without mouths on the couple's faces, so I had to draw them in.  I'm not really happy with how it turned out, but it's such a small part of the card, that I decided to keep it.

I have coloured the image with Copics, and used a white gel pen to add the sparkle to her dress.  The background was created using a My Favourite Things brick stencil and Distress Ink.

My paper comes from the Reminisce City Lights paper pack.  I used a Find It Trading Kampen die for the sentiment, and cut it from Hunkydory Marvellous Mirri card.  Lastly, I added a few Prima crystal dots.

Thanks so much for popping over for a look today!

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #657: A NIGHT ON THE TOWN

Good Morning crafty friends!

There was a lot of confusion among the girls when I suggested the theme for this week:
A NIGHT ON THE TOWN

so I also provided a photo inspiration to get the message across, which you can find on the challenge blog. Whether it's the city lights, the couple out celebrating together, dancing the night away, drinking cocktails, or just dressing up for a night out, I'd like to see what A NIGHT ON THE TOWN looks like for you.

Up for grabs this week: 3 digi images from our generous sponsor

I have used one of the gorgeous images from our sponsor, called Alana.  She is so elegant and stylish!

I have coloured the image with Copics, using the following colours:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000; R20
Lips: RV55
Hair: E29; E27; E25; E23; E21
Dress: V09; V06; V05; V01

I've used a sheet from the Reminisce City Lights Kit behind the image.  I wish I'd placed her on the left rather than on the right, because the fireworks behind her head make her look a little like the Statue of Liberty.  Anyway...

I have cut the image out with blade and mounted her with puffy pads.

The sentiment and champagne glass are die cuts from a magazine freebie set called Let's Celebrate.  I've used Liquid Pearls for the popping bubbles above the glass.  There actually is a die for those, included in the set, but I didn't feel like sticking each little one down individually. (LAZY!)  The die cuts and frame are cut from the Hunkydory Marvellous Mirri Pads Pretty Pastels paper pack.

I've added a few Prima Say it in Crystals dots and flowers by Studio Light and I Am Roses.

I took extra pictures of the die cuts, because they're shiny, but it only shows in pics that are taken at an angle:

The team have created a stunning showcase of images for this week's theme, so be sure to pop over for a look.

Thanks for having a look at mine!

Linda
