THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #577: ALL ABOUT FAMILY

Good Morning lovely crafters!

Our theme at The Paper Shelter this week is:
ALL ABOUT FAMILY

I've decided to make a Christmas card for Gran, using Grandma's Christmas Tales.

I've coloured the image with Copics.

My papers are from the Carta Bella Letters to Santa paper pack.  I've included two laser cuts, by Scrapaholics, and I've sprayed them both with white Gesso, and then added a few Simple Stories enamel dots.

I've also included a strip of Birch Creative lace, and flowers by Prima and Petaloo.

Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize!  Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Thanks for popping in!

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #717: WINTER

Good Morning everyone!

Our lovely Kitty has chosen our theme for the week.  She'd like to see your
WINTER
creations.

Up for grabs, we have 3 digi images from our generous sponsor

I've chosen Victorian Winter Emily for my card.

I have coloured the image with Copics, and inked the edges.  My papers are from the Ciao Bella Frozen Roses paper pack.  I've distressed the paper edges.

The sentiment tag is a chipboard sticker by Echo Park, and the glittery snowflakes are Little Birdie.

Be sure to pop over to the challenge blog to see how the rest of the team have interpreted this week's theme.

Thanks for popping in to see mine!

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #575: WARM & FUZZY

Good Morning lovely crafters!

Our theme at The Paper Shelter this week is:
WARM & FUZZY
It's quite a broad subject.  You can choose anything that makes you feel warm & fuzzy, you could use warm colours, or choose something fuzzy for your project, like a teddybear.

I've chosen Cozy Christmas Together for my card.  I have coloured the image with Copics, then used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out, cutting the bottom bit with a blade.

My paper and sentiment are from the PhotoPlay Santa Paws for Cats paper pack.  I've used a Creative Dies wonky stitches circle die for the red paper.  I've also used an Amy Design die for the top left corner lamp and snowflake die cut.

The snowflake swirl is a Scrapaholics laser cut.  I've sprayed that with white Gesso.  My flowers are a mix of I Am Roses and Little Birdie.  The white bobble lace is Simplicity and the red and gold lace is an old one from my stash.

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #715: FAVOURITE DIGI/STAMP

Oour lovely Karen has given us direction this week.  She'd like to see your
FAVOURITE DIGI or STAMP

That was an easy choice for us, because we're sponsored by

and they'll be giving away a £10 voucher to spend on digi products in the store this week.

I chose Almond Blossoms for my card.  I have coloured the image with Copics.

My papers are from two different paper backs.  The background from the Asuka Studio Dusty Blue Floral paper pack, and the striped paper from the Asuka Studio Water Color Splash paper pack.

I've added an Offray ribbon and tied off a big bow.   I've also added two small Prima pearl swirls.

This is a great opportunity to win a super prize, so I do hope you'll get your entry in this week.

Thanks for popping in for some inspiration!

I've used a Spellbinders die for one of the papers.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #573: YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR COMBO

Good Morning lovely crafters!

Our theme at The Paper Shelter this week is:
YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR COMBO

Now I have a few favourites, but brown combos are always top of my list.  This week, I'm going with PINK and BROWN

I've used one of the gorgeous images from the Fairytale Ladies PDF Colouring Book.  If you haven't had a look at the colouring books yet, do yourself a favour and pop over to see them.  They are incredible value for money!

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies stitched oval to cut her out.

My papers are from the Wild Rose Studio Letters from Paris paper pack.  I've added a square doily that I picked up in a second-hand store, and a few pearls from my stash.

My flowers are a mix of I Am Roses and 49 and Market, and the sentiment is cut with a Poppy Crafts die.

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #713: ADD SOME DOODLING

Good Morning everyone!

Our lovely Elaine has chosen our theme this week.  She'd like you to
ADD SOME DOODLING
to your project.

Up for grabs this week, we have 2 digi images from our generous sponsor

I've used Cindy's Umbrella on my card.

I have coloured the image with Copics and allowed it to extend beyond the borders of the frame I cut for it.

My papers and the sentiment are from the Prima Lavender paper pack.  I've used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch to frame the paper.

My flowers are a mix of Prima and I Am Roses.

I was about to take my pics of this card, when I remembered that I was supposed to add doodling, so I grabbed my fine line pen and added a few hand-drawn corners.

Be sure to stop by the blog for a bit of inspiration this week.  Thanks for having a look at mine!
