DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS BON APPETIT 2

Digi Doodle Studios has released a series of Pairables, which are digital sets including characters, fun elements and sentiments, which can be mixed and matched with each other or other digital images, to create a variety of scenes.

I've created an Anniversary card with the Bon Appetit Pairables set, using the boy chef, the girl chef, the whisk, the dome plate and one one of the four sentiments included in the set.

I've coloured my scene with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.

I've used another Spellbinders die to cut out the Happy Anniversary sentiment, which was a magazine freebie stamp, and a Poppy Crafts die to cut out the heart.

My papers are from the Maja Design Denim & Girls set.  I've added a few pearls and flowers by 49 and Market.

We've been showing off these fantastic Pairables in our FaceBook group, so if you'd like to see more, pop in for a visit:

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS MACK HAMMOND

There's a New Release happening at Digi Doodle Studios, filled with Costume Party images, and this is one of them.

Meet Mack Hammond!

I have coloured the image with markers and added in a background using a Tim Holtz brick stencil and Distress Inks.  I've cut the image and sentiment out using one of my oldest Spellbinders die sets.

My papers are from the Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Cat pack.  The playing cards are Dress It Up buttons, and the pair of glasses is an Eyelet Outlet brad.  The clock is Lemoncraft.  I've also added a few pearls.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #448

It's challenge time at Penny's again, and we have two fantastic sponsors this week:

and

The team are showcasing images from Little Blue Button Stamps.  These images will always be dear to my heart, because they were the first I ever used as a Penny's team member, and Charlie has remained my favourite LBBS character.

I've used Happy Charlie on my card.

I've coloured the image with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.

My papers are from the Stamperia Lilac Flowers pack - one of my favourites!  I distressed and inked all the edges.  I've used an assortment of flowers, including KaiserCraft, Green Tara, Petaloo and 49 and Market.  I've added a few pearls and a beautiful sheer ribbon.

Our challenge is Anything Goes, and it's a wonderful opportunity to win one of our super prizes.  To see what the rest of the team have created, just click on our banner at the top of the page.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #398: DIGITAL IMAGE

Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have a wonderfully simple challenge for you this week:  We'd like you to use a
DIGITAL IMAGE

This image is the very first image I ever bought from the Paper Shelter, back in March 2014.  I was new to digital images, and hadn't had much practice colouring with markers yet.  These days I colour almost every day, and do the Kit & Clowder colouring classes (when I have time) and I've been dying to redo some of my original images!

The image is called Cute Dressmaker.  After colouring the image with my markers, I have cut it out with a blade.

The beautiful tape measure paper is from the Simple Stories Oh, Baby! pack.  The fabulous sewing machine was cut on my Cricut.  I've mounted it on puffy pads and mounted my Cute Dressmaker on an additional level of puffy pads.  I've added gorgeous Dress It Up buttons for all the needlework goodies and a few little actual (normal) buttons.

Up for grabs this week is our usual fantastic price of a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your creation, or 3 images of your choice if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them (It could be the digital image, pre-coloured image or paper), but do remember to follow our DIGITAL IMAGE theme this week!

Here's my original card using this adorable image, from July 2014:
