DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS MACK HAMMOND

There's a New Release happening at Digi Doodle Studios, filled with Costume Party images, and this is one of them.

Meet Mack Hammond!

I have coloured the image with markers and added in a background using a Tim Holtz brick stencil and Distress Inks.  I've cut the image and sentiment out using one of my oldest Spellbinders die sets.

My papers are from the Crafter's Companion Scruffy Little Cat pack.  The playing cards are Dress It Up buttons, and the pair of glasses is an Eyelet Outlet brad.  The clock is Lemoncraft.  I've also added a few pearls.

To see more of the Costume Party New Release, pop in for visit to our FaceBook group, where we're showcasing them this week.

Or head straight to the store to see them all.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look today!

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #448

It's challenge time at Penny's again, and we have two fantastic sponsors this week:

and

The team are showcasing images from Little Blue Button Stamps.  These images will always be dear to my heart, because they were the first I ever used as a Penny's team member, and Charlie has remained my favourite LBBS character.

I've used Happy Charlie on my card.

I've coloured the image with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.

My papers are from the Stamperia Lilac Flowers pack - one of my favourites!  I distressed and inked all the edges.  I've used an assortment of flowers, including KaiserCraft, Green Tara, Petaloo and 49 and Market.  I've added a few pearls and a beautiful sheer ribbon.

Our challenge is Anything Goes, and it's a wonderful opportunity to win one of our super prizes.  To see what the rest of the team have created, just click on our banner at the top of the page.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #398: DIGITAL IMAGE

Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have a wonderfully simple challenge for you this week:  We'd like you to use a
DIGITAL IMAGE

This image is the very first image I ever bought from the Paper Shelter, back in March 2014.  I was new to digital images, and hadn't had much practice colouring with markers yet.  These days I colour almost every day, and do the Kit & Clowder colouring classes (when I have time) and I've been dying to redo some of my original images!

The image is called Cute Dressmaker.  After colouring the image with my markers, I have cut it out with a blade.

The beautiful tape measure paper is from the Simple Stories Oh, Baby! pack.  The fabulous sewing machine was cut on my Cricut.  I've mounted it on puffy pads and mounted my Cute Dressmaker on an additional level of puffy pads.  I've added gorgeous Dress It Up buttons for all the needlework goodies and a few little actual (normal) buttons.

Up for grabs this week is our usual fantastic price of a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your creation, or 3 images of your choice if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them (It could be the digital image, pre-coloured image or paper), but do remember to follow our DIGITAL IMAGE theme this week!

Here's my original card using this adorable image, from July 2014:

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #511: USE 3 OF SOMETHING

Good Morning Promarkers lovers!

We have a new challenge happening at Passion for Promarkers this week.  Lorraine has chosen your theme, and she would like you to
USE 3 OF SOMETHING

We are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps this week, and they'll be giving our winner a $12 store voucher.

I have used Cat Trio Blocks on my card, and I've decided to go with a Christmas card this week.  As the end of the year approaches, I always make a series of Pet Lover Christmas cards, and this image is perfect for one of them!

I have used the following Promarkers to colour my images:

Kitties: Burnt Sienna; Cinnamon; Tan
Tail: Cool Greys 3 - 5
Noses: Black
Ears: Oatmeal; Pink Carnation
Background: Blue Pearl; Pastel Blue

My sentiment is a Newton's Nook photopolymer stamp, and I've cut it out using a Poppy Crafts die.  My papers are from the Stamperia Winter Star pack.  I have distressed and inked the edges.  I've added a strip of lace from my stash.

And now for my 3s:  3 kitties; 3 pearls; 3 snowflakes by Jolee's.  The snowflakes had amber gems in the centre, which didn't go well with my colour scheme, so I painted them with a dash of Liquid Pearls.

The girls have put together a beautiful array of inspiration this week, so be sure to pop over for a look.  If you click on our sponsor logo, you can head straight to their store to get shopping!

Thanks so much for popping in for a look today!

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS ENCHANTING CHARLOTTE

We have a fun New Release of Costume Party images happening at Digi Doodle Studios this week!  This is one of the new images.  It's called Enchanting Charlotte.

I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out using a Spellbinders die.  I've used another Spellbinders die for the sentiment.

My papers are from 2 different digital paper packs, also from Digi Doodle Studios: The confetti paper is from the Frightfully Delightful pack, and the magical stars paper is from the Spooky Night pack.

I've added a starry ribbon and bow, and flowers by Prima, Little Birdie and Petaloo.

If you'd like to see more of these brand new images showcased, we're showing them off in our FaceBook group:

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NURSERY FRIENDS

This image is so sweet, I just want to cry when I look at it!  It's called Nursery Friends.  I have coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the First Edition It's A Girl pack.  I had intended to keep the card gender neutral, but I just loved how well these two papers worked together, and how well they matched the colours I'd used in the image.

I've added a strip of lace in cream, to tie in with the wall colour in my image, and 2 Dress It Up heart buttons.  I've used a sheer ribbon to made a giant bow.

The rest of the baby goodies are from a set of Artoz Artwork stickers I've had for many years, just waiting for the right card to use them on.

If you need a little more CUTENESS OVERLOAD, be sure to pop over to our FaceBook page, where the team showcase these adorable images every day!  You could also enter one of our FaceBook challenges for an opportunity to win Digi Doodles of your own.

We also have our monthly blog challenge running.  The theme for the month is:

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS BON APPETIT

I have been having so much fun working with the new Pairables available at Digi Doodle Studios!

The Pairables are digi stamp sets including characters and elements that can be mixed and matched to create any scene you like, or even paired up with other digital images!

We have quite a few 'foodies' in our family, so this set is just perfect for a few cards for them!

It's called Bon Appetit.  I have used the chef boy, the chef girl, the bowls border, the spoon, the ladle, the pot, the tray and one of the four sentiments included in the set.

I have coloured the scene with markers.

My papers are from the Bo Bunny Family Recipes pack.  The set of frying pans and the bread are Darice Timeless Minis.  The pepper grinder, 'pasta' and recipe card are Dress It Up buttons.

We're showing off our Pairables in our FaceBook group at the moment, so if you'd like to see a few of them used, you can join us there:

Or head straight to the store to bag yours!

Thank you so much for popping in for a look today!
