PETER'S TRAVELS

One of the hardest things in the world is losing a beloved furry companion.  I've been there, and I don't think you ever truly get over it.

I've been asked to make a card for someone who just lost their precious furbaby.

The heart paper is from the Maja Design Vintage Baby paper pack.  I've used a Darice embossing folder for the paw prints.  The sweet kitty and wings are Dress It Up buttons.  I've added one Echo Park enamel dot.

The sentiment is is a Waffle Flower stamp.

Cookie Guy

The recipient of this card is into all things IT, but I was battling to find decent embellishments for his card.  I ended up settling on the computer monitor and mouse I've used and cut them on my Cameo.

I've used a KennyK image called Cookie Guy, and coloured him with markers.

My papers and tag are from the Maja Design Walking in the Forest pack.  The birthday message was a freebie stamp.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #485: ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning crafty friends!

It's time for a fun new challenge at Penny's, with two super prizes up for grabs!

will be giving away 3 digi images

and

will be giving away 2 digi images

I've gone with a fun image from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, called Karaoke Claus.  I've coloured the image with Copics and used Distress Ink with a magazine freebie stencil for the brick wall behind him.

I've gone with a simple card design using papers from the Carta Bella Dear Santa paper pack, two pretty die cut shapes I had previously cut and not used, that were lying on a shelf in my craft room, and a few pearls.  The image is so awesome, I didn't think it needed an elaborate card.

The team have put together a beautiful showcase of images from our sponsors, so be sure to pop over for a look.

Thanks for stopping by today!

PAPER NEST DOLLS SLEIGH RIDE AVERY

I have another Christmas card to share today, this one using an adorable image from Paper Nest Dolls, called Sleigh Ride Avery.

I just love the 'home-made' look to her sleigh - like Dad quickly whipped it up with a few spare planks he has in his shed.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a My Favourite Things cloud stencil for the snow.  I've then used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out and mounted it with puffy pads.

My papers, hot chocolate sticker and the sentiment come from the Photo Play For The Love of Winter collection.

To decorate the card I've used a KaiserCraft laser cut, which I've cut in half to use in two different places.  The flowers are Prima.  The little pine cones were collected from my driveway.  I've added Prima Snowflake Paste to them.  The festive blossom bunches were in my stash.

To see more Christmas images from Paper Nest Dolls, head over to the Christmas section of the store to see what's available.

And to find some inspiration using these fabulous images, join us in our Facebook Group, where we share all our cards.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #450: DIGITAL IMAGE

Good Morning fellow crafters!

This week at The Paper Shelter, we'd like you to use a
DIGITAL IMAGE

I've gone with such a fun image this week!  It's called All About Kittens.

I have coloured the image with Copics.

My papers are from two Maja Designs paper packs: Christmas Season and Denim & Girls.  I've used 3 KaiserCraft last cuts and sprayed them with white Gesso.  The doily was a portion I had left from a previous project.

My flowers are all no name whites from my stash, and I've used markers to colour the tips of two of them. I've added two strips of hemp cord and a few random pearls.

Up for grabs this week is our usual super prize!  You could win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (black and white digi, precoloured image or paper), or 3 digi images of your choice if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.  Just remember to use a digital image this week.

Wishing you a fun, crafty week!

Linda

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS RANI-RAE RAGDOLL CHRISTMAS KITTY

Every year I make a series of Christmas cards for pet lovers, and this year, Digi Doodle Studios has a full range of Christmas Kitties and Pups to choose from.

This gorgeous image is called Rani-Rae Ragdoll.  I have coloured the image with Copics.  I've also used Tim Holtz Distress Inks around the edges.  I've then used a KaiserCraft circle die to cut it out.

My papers are from two Studio Light paper packs: Winter Days and Winter Feelings.  I've added two strips of bobble lace.

My Christmas sentiment is a magazine freebie stamp, and I've used a Spellbinders die to cut out both sentiments.

The larger of my flowers and the little ones with wooden bead centres are Prima, and the little white blossom stems are Petaloo.  The the rest of my flowers were bulk pack roses.  The dark pink one came as is, other than some added Stickles to make it match the large flower.  The rest of the roses were pure white.  I used the same pink markers I used for the image, to add colour to their petal tips.  I'm so pleased with how they turned out!

The icicle type edges have been made using Finnabair Snowflake Paste.  Lastly, a few Couture Creations pearls.
