DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS POND LIFE PAIRABLES 2

This is the 2nd card I've made using the adorable Pond Life Pairables set.  This set is full of fantastic elements to create your own scene.

Since I used the two toads on my previous card, I decided to go in a completely different direction with this one.

I have coloured the image with markers and framed it with a Celebr8 laser cut.

My papers are from three different paper packs.  The red stripe paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Wilderness Retreat pack, the green is from the Echo Park Scenic Route pack, and the dotty paper is from the Echo Park Petticoats & Pinstripes pack.

The sentiment is included in the Pairables set, and I've used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.

My flowers are Green tara and the leaves are Celebr8 laser cuts.  I've also added two Cocoa Vanilla Studio woodies.

You can find loads of cuties like this one in the Digi Doodle Studios store, so head over for a little look.

We share Digi Doodle inspiration in our Facebook group all month long, so if inspiration is what you're after, join us there

We'll be back in the New Year with a brand new blog challenge.  In the meantime, here's wishing you  blessed Christmas, hopefully spent with your loved ones.

Thanks for popping in today!

PAPER NEST DOLLS SANTA WITH ICE-CREAM

On the morning of the 26th, once all Santa's deliveries are done and the reindeer have passed out for the week, Santa heads off for warmer shores, to celebrate a job well done.  Here he is, posing for a shot on an Australian beach promenade.

This fun image is from the Vacation Santa Set.  It's called Santa With Ice Cream.

I have coloured the image with Copics.

My papers and stickers are from the Echo Park I Love Christmas pack.  I've used a set of Tim Holtz tag dies to cut all the tags, and inked all my edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink.  They've all been threaded with Offray ribbon, but the smallest tag has a bow sticker instead, since it's so tiny.

I've used Prima flowers to decorate my card.

Well that's it for me for 2020.  I'll be back with more Paper Nest Dolls inspiration in the new year.  You can join us in our Facebook Group to see more from the team.

Wishing you a blessed Christmas and a super 2021!

Thanks for popping in!

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS ADELINA FAIRY

This gorgeous image from Digi Doodle Studios is a current freebie at Kit & Clowder.  She's called Adelina Fairy.

I've coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut her out.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Summer's Garden Collection.  I've used a freebie stamp for the sentiment.  The wily circle is a KaiserCraft die cut and the wheat border is a Paper Rose die cut.   I've finished off with a few Prima Say it in Crystals dots.

Be sure to pop over to Kit & Clowder to pick up your freebie while it's available, but just in case you've missed it, you can find her in store here:

THE PAPER SHELTER CHRISTMAS BREAK CHALLENGE: ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning crafters!

This is our final challenge for 2020!

Our theme for this one is
ANYTHING GOES!

I've decided to use this sweet couple for an Anniversary card for my son and daughter-in-law.  The image is called Grocery List.

I've coloured the image with Copics and drawn in a shopfront background for them.

My papers are from the Echo Park Our Wedding paper pack.  I've used two chunky wooden hearts by Krafters Korner, because they resemble two beautiful thick wooden cake platters they had at their wedding.  I just love that you can still see some woodgrain in these hearts.

I've added plain flowers from my stash and a few pearl swirls.

There are 3 die cuts on my card:  The Happy Anniversary is Creative Expressions; the branch of buds on the left and the leafy branch at the bottom are Tim Holtz.

We have our usual fantastic prize up for grabs for this challenge!  You could win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product (black & white digi, pre-coloured image or digital paper), or 3 digis of your choice if you've used a different brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one fo them.

All that's left to say is MERRY CHRISTMAS!  We'll see you again in the new year, with lots more inspiration and exciting chances to win Paper Shelter images.

Thanks for popping in!

Linda

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #486: YEAR END MEGA CHALLENGE

 Good Morning lovely crafters!

This is our final challenge for 2020, and the Penny's Design Team will be taking a well deserved break for the next 4 weeks, retuning with our first challenge for 2021 on the 6th of January.  We won't be commenting on any entries, but we do have three fabulous sponsors giving away prizes, so get your entries in for an opportunity to win!

Up for grabs is:

3 digi images from

2 digi images from

and

3 digi images from

I have used such a sweet image from SheepSki Designs. It's called Christmas Eve.  The image comes in 3 versions, one including Santa's sleigh flying past the moon, but since I wanted to make a birthday card with it, I've used the version without Santa.

I've coloured the image with Copics and then used a wonky stitches die from Creative Dies to cut it out.  I've used another die from the set to cut out the sentiment.

My papers are from the Echo Park Petticoats & Pinstripes paper pack.  The canvas ribbon has been recycled.  It originally came wrapped around a new set of sheets.

The pretty resin corners were originally joined into a Creative Scrapbooking square frame.  I first weakened the opposing corners with a blade and then snapped it in half, so that I could use the two pieces separately.

Finally, I've added a few KaiserCraft pearls.

One more male card done!

Thanks so much for popping in for look today!

Linda
