WORLD WIDE OPEN DESIGN TEAM CHALLENGE #06

These's a brand new challenge on the go at World Wide Open Design team Challenge, and the theme is ANYTHING GOES.  The only requirement is that you serve on any Design Team anywhere in the world.

This is my final Guest Designer creation for the team.  It's been an honour to create with Julia Spiri's art, ad I have had so much fun!

I've gone with a male card this time.  I've used Ahh, Ice-Cream! on my card.

I've coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the Echo Park Imagine That! paper pack.  The sentiment is an Apple Blossom stamp.

The pretty dotty ribbon was in my stash.  I've also added a few Dress It Up button treats.

The World Wide Open Design Team Challenge is sponsored exclusively by Julia Spiri.  If you'd like to head to her store to see what else she has available, you can click here:

There's also lots to see on Julia's FaceBook page:

It's been an honour to create with the WWODT gang!  My thanks to Julia for trusting me to represent her art.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Linda

WORLD WIDE OPEN DESIGN TEAM CHALLENGE #05

https://worldwideopendesignteamchallenge.blogspot.com/

It's time for a brand new challenge at World Wide Open Design Team Challenge.  The theme is anything goes and the only requirement is that you serve on any Design Team anywhere in the world.

I have the privilege of Guest Designing for a few months, and have the honour of using images from our exclusive sponsor, Julia Spiri.

This month I've used Kate and Kitten.

I have coloured this adorable image with markers and used a Poppy Crafts stitched oval die to cut it out, allowing her hand and kitty's tail (I've named him Cashew) to extend beyond the edge of the die cut.

Behind the image is another die cut oval, using the same set of dies.

My papers are from the Maja Design Celebration pack.

I used a few other dies for this card.  The leafy swirls are Creative Expressions and the doily is Bo Bunny.  I've added loads of white flowers from my stash, and 3 Dress It Up Buttons paw prints.  The enamels dots are Pink Fresh Studio.  I've finished off the card with an oversized bow.

WORLD WIDE OPEN DESIGN TEAM CHALLENGE #04

https://worldwideopendesignteamchallenge.blogspot.com/

The April challenge at World Wide Open Design Team Challenge has kicked off and the team have created a beautiful assortment of inspiration using images from our exclusive sponsor  Julia Spiri.

Guest Designing this month, I used Mila on my card.

I have coloured the image with markers and then distressed and inked the edges of the my image and all my papers, using Dusty Concord Distress Ink.

My papers are from the 49 and Market Irrevocable Beauty pack.  My flowers are all 49 and Market too.

I've added two pieces of laser cut lattice (also 49 and Market).  I originally intended to keep it uncoloured, but once it was stuck down and I stepped back for a look, it looked a little washed out, so I painted it with Copic Opaque White.  I've added two wire butterflies and a few pearls.

The World Wide Open Design Team Challenge is open to anyone who serves on any design team around the world.  You can enter any project you like and use any image.

WORLD WIDE OPEN DESIGN TEAM CHALLENGE #03

https://worldwideopendesignteamchallenge.blogspot.com/

I have the privilege of Guest Designing for World Wide Open Design Team Challenge for the next few months.   The challenge is exclusively sponsored by Julia Spiri, so I've had the joy of picking one of her images to showcase this month.

This is Smile.  I have coloured the image with markers and used a Poppy Crafts stitched oval die to cut her out.

My papers are from the Ciao Bella Broccato Estense paper pack.  I've added a strip of lace and a crocheted doily which I picked up at a 2nd hand store.  I cut the doily in half to use in 2 different places on the card.  The little bow was made with the final piece of a ribbon I had in my stash.

My flowers are a mix of 49 and Market and Prima.  I've also added two white feathers behind the flowers, to tie in with the feather in her hair.  As a final touch, I've added a few FabScraps pearls.

The World Wide Open Design Team Challenge is open to anyone who serves on any Design Team around the world, so if that's you, be sure to join this month!  You can enter any project and use any image.
