Our theme this week is:

PRETTY IN PINK

I have used She Loves Sunny Days on my card.  I have coloured the image with Copics, but before colouring her, I stretched the image vertically, to make her look a little older.

I decided to keep this one nice and plain, and easy to post, so I've kept the embellishments to a minimum.

My papers and little sentiment tags are from the Bo Bunny Petal Lane paper pack.  I've used a Spellbinders die to cut out the image and the paper behind it.

All I've added after that is one pearl heart.

WINTER BLUES

That means a Winter themed card or Shades of Blue.

I've gone with a Winter themed card and used blue shades in my paper choices.

My Big Scarf was perfect for this theme.  I coloured her with Copics.

My papers are from the Prima Georgia Blues paper pack.  I've added a strip of Birch Creative lace and a ribbon from my stash, as well as a few pearls.

My flowers are Prima and Krafter's Korner.

Good Morning lovely crafters!  It's time for our Christmas Break!  This challenge will run for 4 weeks.

Our theme is:

ANYTHING GOES

I have used Cookies With Santa on my card.  

I have coloured the image with Copics, and used paper and the sentiment panel from the DCWV O Christmas Tree paper pack.

You can barely see them, but I've added an Offray ribbon, and a strip of Birch Creative lace.  I then ended up covering them up, so that was a complete waste!  My flowers are Blossoms by Vivaldi, and the pearls are FabScraps.

THE PAPER SHELTER SPECIAL TRIBUTE: IN HONOUR OF THOSE WE LOVE

This week and next, rather than running our usual Blog Hop, the Design Team at The Paper Shelter is honouring our beautiful co-founder Veronica, who tragically left us on the 25th of September 2024.

Veronica was a kind, supportive, beautiful soul, who alongside her co-founder Pedro, produced the images we all know and love to create with.

There is a vacuum in the world today, where Veronica used to be, and we will miss her terribly.

I've used one of the last images Veronica uploaded to the store, Lunar Dreamer, coloured with Copics.

Our theme this week is:

ADD A NUMBER

I have used Mermaid's Melody.  I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies die to cut her out.  

The paper for the tag is from the Pink & Main My Heart paper pack.  I've used a Tim Holz die to make the tag.  The rest of my papers are from the Doodlebug Design Inc. Cute & Crafty paper pack.

The pretty bow lace is Birch Creative, and the ribbon used for the bow is Offray.

I've used Studio Light dies for the ocean elements, and a Die'sire die for the doily.   My flowers are  49 and Market and Green Tara.  The number 7 is American Crafts.

Our theme this week is:

THE LITTLE ONES

(Something for a child)

I've used one of the adorable images from the Baby Animals colouring book.  It's filled with the cutest images of puppies and kittens, and even some teddies, like this one.

I have coloured th eimage with Copics and used paper from two Echo Park paper packs: A Birthday Wish, and Happy as can Bee.  The little bee stickers come from the paper pack too.  The leafy ring is a Jeanine's Art die cut, the wheat border is a Paper Rose die cut, and the sentiment shape is a Spellbinders die cut.

I want to post this card to a special little girl, so I didn't want to add anything that would add dimension to the card.

SQUARES and/or CIRCLES

(You can make a circle or square shaped card, or have squares or circles on your project)

I've gone with circles, and used A Walk in Style for my card.

I've coloured the image with Copics, and then used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.

I've created my circles by using a set of Poppy Crafts circle dies and cut them out of white card, allowing the paper behind (Memory Place My Family paper pack), to show through.  The sentiment banner comes from the same paper pack.  I've finished off with three little Simple Stories enamel dots.

I've used Autumn Beauty on my card.  I've coloured the image with Copics and you can't see any of it, but I've used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.

My papers are from the Studio Light Wonderful Autumn paper pack.  I've used 49 and Market flowers and a ring, and then added Prima leaves and laser cuts by 2 Crafty and Make it Crafty, which I've coloured with Copics.
