PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #484: SPOTS AND/OR STRIPES

Good Morning Everybody!

We have a new challenge on the go at Passion for Promarkers, and oh boy... do we have a great prize up for grabs this week!

Your theme for the week is:

SPOTS AND/OR STRIPES

I have coloured Tavi with Promarkers of course!

I used:

Purple: Blossom; Orchid; Amethyst; Purple

Teal: Tea Green; Pastel Green; Mint Green

Brown: Blush; Sandstone; Caramel + Burnt Sienna on the belly

Eyes: China Blue and I darkened up the pupils with Black and added a few white gel pen dots.

I cut Tavi out with a blade.

My base card was cut on my Cameo, in the shape of a tag.  My papers and sentiment stickers are from the Echo Park Let's Be Mermaids pack.  I've added a little bow and Jenni B flowers.  Tavi is stuck on with puffy pads.

I'm excited to see what you create this week!  Just remember to use your Winsor & Newton products, and follow the theme.  It would help the team if you could mention which products you've used (Promarkers; Flex markers; Tria markers; Aqua markers; or Metallic markers)

This sweet image is from Cute As A Button.  It's called St. Patty's Day Parade.  She is this month's FaceBook Progressive Challenge image in the Cute As A Button FaceBook Group.  I originally coloured the image with a St. Patrick's Day theme, as you can see below, but I wasn't happy.  I had coloured the flag with the colours reversed, so that they were in the right order as you look at the image, but it made me uncomfortable that it meant the colours were actually in the wrong order for an Irish flag, were the flag real and blowing in the wind.  I decided to reprint my image and colour up the flag and balloon without the St. Patrick's Day theme, and turn it into a birthday card instead.  I then stuck the new flag and balloon onto the previous versions.

I have coloured the image with markers and added pearls to her headband and shoes.  My papers are from the Pink & Main My Heart pack.  I've added a broad ribbon and bow, and embellishments from Making Memories.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS LINDA'S CONFECTIONERY

I have the honour of being the Spotlighted Design Team member at Digi Doodle Studios this month, and that means that Dina has created this image, inspired by me!  I am so completely overwhelmed by this, that I just cried when Dina sent the image to me.  

The image is called Linda's Confectionery.  I love to bake, and biscuits (American cookies 😉) are what I'm most famous for.  I will often bake just for the love of baking, and then look for people to give my biscuits away to: friends, family members, the postman, anybody really!  When my children were still at school, I was called 'The Biscuit Lady' by the other parents 🤣

Another thing I love to make is chocolate truffles - and I do this only at Christmas time.  These don't normally last long enough to be given away!

And of course, Dina has also included my two precious fur babies, WHICH MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!

Dina has asked us what we particularly like about Digi Doodles, and my answer has always been the same: Each one oozes 'soul' and happiness.  She has certainly captured my soul in this one!

My papers for this card are from the 13@rts Vintage Summer pack.  I have distressed and inked the edges.  I've used an adorable Spellbinders paw print heart die.  My flowers are Prima and Green Tara.  I've also added a strip of lace and a few pearls.

I have used an adorable image from Imagine That, called It MOOOst Be Love to make an Anniversary card.  I have coloured the image with markers and drawn in a background for them.  The sentiment is one of several included in the set.  

My papers are from the First Edition Love Letters pack.  I have used Sizzix dies to cut out the hearts and another to cut out the image and offset paper behind it.  I've mounted the hearts at varying levels using puffy pads.  I've added a ribbon and bow and a few enamel hearts.

WHOOPSI DAISY MARCH CHALLENGE: ANYTHING GOES + CIRCLES

Good Morning everybody!

I was lucky enough to win the January challenge at Whoopsi Daisy, and along with a fantastic prize, I was invited to be the Guest Designer for this month.  

The theme for the month is:

ANYTHING GOES with the optional theme of CIRCLES

I have used one of the adorable images from Collection 9.  I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out using a Spellbinders die.  I've used KaiserCraft circle dies to cut out all the papers, a Creative Expressions die to cut the sentiment circle, and another KaiserCraft die for the dotty circles.

My papers are from the Celebr8 New Beginnings pack.  

I've added a broad ribbon and a few gem swirls and corner designs.  My flowers are Prima and Green Tara.  The fleur-de-lis is Tim Holtz.

Wow!  Can you believe it's March already???  

We have a new challenge starting on the blog today, with a lovely Spring palette we'd like you to use: 

I've made a circular easel card, using the sweet Bella Butterfly.  I have coloured the image with markers and cut her and the sentiment out using stitched tag dies from Poppy Crafts.  The sentiment is a Stampendous stamp.

My papers are from the Lemon Craft Everyday Spring pack.  I cut the scalloped and plain circles on my Cameo.  The white circular leaves and flowers were cut using a KaiserCraft die.  I've added two strips of lace and flowers by Green Tara and 49 and Market.

MY BESTIES AUSSIE'S CHALLENGE MARCH

Hello Everybody!

We have a new challenge starting today, and we're showcasing some of the cutest My Besties images!

This is Storytime Fairy Tale Besties Goldie Locks.  I have coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the KaiserCraft Whisper pack.  I've used several dies: I've cut my image out using a stitched edge Poppy Crafts die; The tree square is also Poppy Crafts;  the leafy swirls behind the flowers are Creative Expressions; and the picket fence is Marianne design.

My flowers are a mix of Prima, Green Tara and 49 and Market.  The butterflies are Petaloo.  I've also added a few pearls.
