PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #494: ANYTHING GOES USING PAPER

 

Good Morning lovely crafters!

I've used a gorgeous image from LeAnn's World 101, called Susie.  I have coloured the image with Copics and then used a Creative Dies wonky stitches tag die to cut her out.

My papers are from the P13 Always and Forever paper pack.  I have edged one of them with Decollections self-adhesive lace tape, and framed one with a Spellbinders die cut decorative frame.  I've added a strip of Birch lace, two Prima Say it in Crystals dots, and a few little Sweet Huni Designs dots.

My flowers are from I Am Roses.

Good Morning lovely crafters!

One of the amazing things about both our sponsors is that they offer pre-coloured images too, and this time, I decided to take a break from my love of colouring, and create something with pre-coloured images instead.

I've gone with Simple Rose Spray with Panels and Sentiments, from Fred She Said.  I chose four different individual roses to make 4 bookmarks.  I doubled up the roses, to have one at the top and one at the bottom, and I added a different sentiment from the set, to each one.  

I had intended to add a border or ink the edges, but once these were cut out, I just loved that they faded away to white in the middle, and didn't want to mess with that, so I left them alone.

I love how quick and simple these were to make!

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #492: ANYTHING GOES USING PAPER

 Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have two super sponsors giving away prizes at Penny's this fortnight!

I have used a beautiful image from Stampers Delights called Anime Peace Out.

I have coloured the image with Copics and then used a Tim Holtz stencil and Distress Ink to create the background.  Now I'm not sure you can tell, but the stencil is scribble hearts, and the negative spaces have been inked.  It just looks like splices to me, but it created a fun background anyway, so I left it at that.

My papers are from the Ella & Viv Groovy Kit paper pack.  I've added two ribbons from my stash - the thicker white one, and the cute flowers.  I think the flower ribbon is First Edition, but I had it without a label in my ribbon box, so I'm not sure.  It just happens to remind me of an old Easter paper pack by First Edition.  

I typed up the sentiment and used two KaiserCraft dies to cut it out.  I've also added 4 Dress It Up glittery flower buttons.

I have used a beautiful image from SheepSki Designs, called Forget Me Knot.

This image is so versatile, and each time I tried to settle on a particular theme for my card, I thought of another, and then another.  Rather than deciding, I thought it best to keep it general.  That way it can be used for any of them!

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a wonky stitches oval die by Creative Dies to cut it out, and another from the set to cut out the sentiment.

The sentiment is a Clear Impressions stamp.

I've used paper from the DCWV S Type of Art Stack and a sheet of corrugated paper from the DCWV The Corrugate neutrals Stack.  The patterned paper has been cut using an edging die by Creative Expressions.

I've added three little Carta Bella enamel dots.

I always find it tough to go lightly with my embellishments, but I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.

I have coloured the image with Copics.

One of my most recent purchases was this sweet paper pack by Echo Park, called Magical Birthday Girl. I thought it would be perfect for this image. The sentiment stickers are included in the pack.

I've added two pink gems and a strip of lace tape, and then decided that the paper was busy enough, and I shouldn't add anything else.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.

My papers are from one of my oldest packs: Sweet Owl by First Edition.  I've added an Apple Blossom die cut flourish heart and a a Bo Bunny die cut doily.

The strip of lace is by Birch and the jute bow is Crafty Bitz.  My flowers are all from I Am Roses.  I've finished off with a few little pearls.

This adorable image is from All Dressed Up.  It's called Love is.  Aren't they just the cutest! 

I have coloured the image with markers and used a KaiserCraft circle and scalloped die to frame them.  For the cloudy background I used a cloud stencil by My Favourite Things and Distress ink.

My papers are from two paper packs: DCWV Textures & Finishes, and Studio Light Lovely Moments.

  I've added a few Echo Park enamel dots and flowers from my stash.  The lace was also a loose piece in my stash, and the lace bow is Santoro.
