DIGI CHOOSDAY WEEK 37

Hi There Crafters!

Tuesday has rolled around again, and we're 37 weeks into the year!  The exciting news is that we have another ANYTHING GOES challenge starting at Digi Choosday today, and a super DISCOUNT CODE waiting for you, valid for 24 hours!

Probably the most rewarding card to make is one for a little person, and that's what the team are showing off this week.

I love using number shapes as my card base, when I make a card for a child.  I cut this number 2 on my Cameo, using the PN Kingdom Come Stencil font.  I doubled up the number to created the card base.

I've used a sweet little bear called Etty Friends from the Winston Bear Collection and coloured the image with markers.  I originally cut out the image using a rectangle die, but it took up far too much of my number base, so I cut out the image by hand instead.

My papers are also from the Winston Bear Collection.  The cute sentiment is from the Lily Bug Love Collection.  I've used a Sizzix die to cut out the sentiment.

I've added teeny wooden ladybirds and Dress It Up flower buttons.

If you're itching to get shopping, you can use this easy link to get there:

To see what the rest of the team have on display this week, and to collect your unique DISCOUNT CODE just pop along to:

It's Winter where I am: my favourite time of the year!  It's also the perfect time to start on those Christmas cards, to avoid the end of year rush!

I have a beautiful collection to share with you today.  My image is called Yummy Gingerbread, and it's part of the Winnie Winterland collection.  I've used paper, a sentiment and precoloured trees from the same collection.  I cut the trees out on my Cricut.  I have coloured my image with markers and created a snowy background behind them.  I've inked the edges of all the papers.

My sentiment was cut out using a Spellbinders die.  I've added a strip of wispy stuff, Petaloo flowers and Dress It Up button snowflakes, along with a few extra gems on the sentiment tag.

Polkadoodles has several Christmas collections, so be sure to use today's discount code to stock up and get crafting!  You can use these links to get around:

DIGI CHOOSDAY WEEK 25

Hi Everybody!

This week I have the pleasure of showing you the Winston range.  I have used papers, the focus sentiment and a little pre-coloured snoozing Winston, all from Winston download bundle.

I have inked the edges of all my papers, and cut the sentiment and snoozing Winston out on my Cricut.  The Dad and swirl are laser cut wood.  I first painted them with white Gesso, and then inked them with Distress Ink.  I wanted to try and achieve a weathered, peeling look, like on the sentiment topper, and if you look at the zoomed pic, you'll be able to see the outcome.  I was quite pleased with the result..  A strip of burlap ribbon and a few pearls and it was all done!

As you know, the weekly challenge at Digi Choosday is Anything Goes, so pop your crafty creations into the challenge, and DON'T FORGET TO GRAB YOUR DISCOUNT CODE TODAY, as it's only only valid for 24 hours!  You can use the links below to get to all the important places:
