Good Morning lovely crafters!
This week at The Paper Shelter, we're making
SHAPED CARDS
I thought it would be a good opportunity to make a Christmas card, and decided to make it in the shape of a Christmas tree.
I've chosen a Christmas tree from the Silhouette range. I tried sending it to my cutter after it was printed, but the registration marks wouldn't line up properly, so I reprinted and cut the tree out by hand. I then used the shape of the tree, doubled up and flipped one, then welded them together, to cut my base card shape.
I chose Checking It Twice, and coloured the image with Copics, then cut that out by hand too. The image is mounted to the tree with puffy pads.
Lastly, I added a puffy sticker sentiment by Echo Park.
Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize! Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand. You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.
