THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #438: ADD A NUMBER

Good Morning Paper Shelter lovers!

We have a brand new challenge on the go and this week we'd like you to ADD A NUMBER to your project.

I've used one of the new yoga pose images for a 40th birthday card for someone very special.  She loves her yoga!

The image is called Tree Posture (Vrikshasana)

I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out with a blade.  I've used the image on the inside of my card, with a window through the front of the card.

My papers are from the Bo Bunny Serendipity paper pack.  I've used KaiserCrats circle and scalloped die to create the opening in the card and papers.

I've added a strip of ribbon from my stash and a sentiment from a freebie stamp set from a craft magazine. I've used a Spellbinders die for the sentiment.

I've used Prima flowers and added a few KaiserCraft pearls.

Now for the number:  I've used Tonic Studios shaker numbers, and filled them with Mini Prills and a Prima bead or two.  I had a bit of a problem when I first chose to do a shaker card, because I had previously bought the number bubbles, but I hadn't bought the number dies to cut the paper.  I put in an urgent online craft order and had to wait until they arrived, before finishing off my card.

Over to you now!  Up for grabs is our usual fantastic prize!  You could win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product, or 3 digis of your choice if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Thanks for popping by for a look at my card.

Linda

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #557: BUTTONS & BOWS

Good Morning Lovely ProMarker lovers!

We have fun new challenge on the go and our talented Karen has chosen  your theme.

This week we'd like to see
BUTTONS &/OR BOWS

Up for grabs this week is 3 digi images from our generous sponsor

I've used an adorable image from our sponsor, called Bundle of Hearts.

I have used the following Pro & Brush Markers to colour my image:

Fur: Cinnamon; Praline; Blush
Nose: Black; Cool Greys 4 & 5
Pink: Wild Orchid; Pink Pearl
Purple: Purple; Amethyst; Lilac
Green: Green; Mint Green; Pastel Green
Yellow: Amber; Canary
Sky: Cloud Blue
Clouds: Cool Greys 1 & 2; Colourless Blender

I've used a KaiserCraft circle die to cut out my image, a little bigger than the given circle, so that I could have a circular border around the bear that I could colour, hopefully adding to the illusion of him popping out from the background.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Cascading Petals paper pack.  I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the border, and a freebie die from a magazine for the doily.

I've used quite an assortment of flowers.  They're by Prima, Little Birdie, and Rosie's Studio.

The first half of my sentiment was typed up on my computer and I've used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.  The second half (Love) is a stamp and die set by Crafti Potential.

I've made a little bow with a sheer Offray ribbon, and added a little wooden heart button I had in my stash.

Lastly, I've added a few iridescent pearls by Queen & Co.

Be sure to pop back to the challenge blog to see more of our sponsor's images showcased.

PAPER NEST DOLLS JUSTIN WITH TOY CAR

It's so wonderful to find a good 'boy' image, and this one is super cute!  The image is called Justin With Car.

I have coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the PhotoPlay Whiskers paper pack.  The glittery balloon is Jenni B, and the other goodies are Birch Scrapbooking.  It's a very old set of foam stickers I've had in my stash for years - so old that I had to replace the sticky dots on the back, to use them.

I've added a lovely sheer ribbon.

MATT TYPING

Mo's Digital Pencil has some great male images that I have added to my stash over the years.  I needed to make a few cards for brothers in their early 20s, and picked two of them for their cards.  This is the first.

The image is called Matt Typing.  I have coloured the image with markers and created a simple card using papers from the DCWV The Guy Stack paper pack.  The sentiment is a Papercraft stamp and I've used a Poppy Crafts stitched circle die to cut it out.  All I've added after that is 3 buttons from my stash.

Thanks for popping in for a look today!

LAZY LOVE

This wonderful image is from Cute As A Button.  It's called I'm Hung Up On You.  I've doubled up the image so I can have an adorable sloth couple.  I've coloured the image with markers and used a Sizzix heart die to cut it out.

My papers are from the Studio Light Lovely Moments pack.  I've distressed and inked the edges.  The sentiment is a 49 and Market laser cut.

The lacy border is Prima.  The flowers are Prima and 49 and Market.  I've added a few gems and a crocheted doily.  The 2 little pearl hearts are Crafter's Choice.
