PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #454

Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have a brand new sponsor this week, but if you pop on over to her store, you're going to recognise  her classic style!

I have used a character and two sentiments from the Disco Friends set.  I took a huge risk with my colouring on this image, and decided to create my own tie-dye for her outfit.  I'm quite happy with how it turned out though!

My paper is from the Bo Bunny Believe pack.  I've used a Martha Stewart punch along the edge of the image frame.  The flowers are Dress It Up buttons.  I've also added a few Petite Posies from Queen & Co.

The team are showcasing a wonderful array of images from our fabulous sponsor this week, so be sure to pop over for a look.

Thanks so much for popping by today!

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #404: MAKE IT SQUARE!

Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have a new challenge on the go at The Paper Shelter, and a new opportunity to win!

Our theme this week is
MAKE IT SQUARE!

Now I don't normally make square cards, so this was was a little different for me, but square cards may be your norm, so you'll have no problem with this one at all!

I'm showcasing Chinese Food today.  I have coloured the image to resemble the beautiful young woman who will be receiving this card, and her furry baby, who does exactly this when she thinks her human is unfairly withholding human food from her.

I used a Tim Holtz stencil and distress inks to create the brick wall behind them.  My papers are from the Stamperia Pink Soul pack.  I have distressed and inked the edges.  I've added two chipboard hexagon strips by 2Crafty, which I've sprayed with white Gesso.

My flowers are a mix of 49 and Market and Green Tara.  I've also added a strip of lace and a few pearls.

Up for grabs this week is a $30 store voucher if our winner has used a Paper Shelter product on their creation, or 3 digis of their choice, if they've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look today!

PAPER NEST DOLLS ELF EMMA WITH LIGHTS

I have the honour of showcasing one of the wonderful Christmas images from Paper Nest Dolls today!

It's called Elf Emma With Lights.  I've used the digi version, but if rubber stamps are your thing, you can buy her in that version too!

I have coloured the image with markers, and used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.  I used the same set of dies to cut out the paper behind the image and the sentiment, and just drew in the stitch marks where I had to alter the die cut.

My papers are from the DCWV O Christmas Tree pack.  I've added a strip of lace and flowers by 49 and Market, and Little Birdie.  The little Christmas lights popping out around the flowers are from a Create Christmas craft string of lights.  I've just cut them loose from their string.  I've also added in a few Tim Holtz Metallic Droplets.

Paper Nest Dolls have a fun Inspiration Group on Facebook, where you can see adorable Dolls all month long.

I'd like to thank Christine for inviting me to Guest Design for her this month.  I'll pop back soon with another adorable Paper Nest Dolls Christmas card.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look!

I SO love this image!  It's called Bubbles.  Who doesn't love a bubblebath?!

I have coloured the image with markers and used a Creative Dies die to cut it out.

I've used another Creative Dies die for the sentiment, and a Magnolia die for the bubbles.

My papers are from the Couture Creations Butterfly Garden pack.  I've added a strip of lace, and flowers by Little Birdie.  The purple and white mini balls are Prills.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE BRINGING GIFTS

We're showcasing a brand New Release of Fall/Winter images at Digi Doodle Studios this week.  This one is called Bringing Gifts.

I have coloured the image with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.  This is one of my favourite colour combos!

My papers are from the Studio Light Winter Days pack.  I've cut a hand crocheted doily in half to use in two places, and added a strip of lace.

My flowers are an assortment of 49 and Market; Petaloo and Prima.  I've also added an actual stick of cinnamon (so my card smells delightful!), and a few brown and pink pearls.

This is such a wonderful New Release!  Be sure to pop over to our FaceBook group to see them all!

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #453

Good morning crafters!

We have a fun new challenge on the go at Penny's, with prizes from 2 great sponsors up for grabs:

and

The team are showcasing images from Imagine That! this week.  I've used Snowing Cupcakes on my card.  I don't know about you, but the idea of cupcakes raining down from the sky gets me VERY excited!  It's such a fun Christmas image!

I have coloured the image with markers and used KaiserCraft circle and scalloped circle dies to cut the image and sentiment out.  By the way, the sentiment is included in the image set, along with other other options.

My papers are from a Me to You set.  The ribbon and remade bow are Papermania.  I have unfortunately ripped the label off the packaging for the tile letters making up JOY, so I can't tell you what brand they are.  The sweet red and green jewelled snowflakes are Dress It Up buttons.  I've also added Echo Park enamel dots.

The team have put together such a lovely array of inspiration for our sponsor this week, so be sure to pop back to the challenge blog to have a look.

Hope you're having a happy crafty week!

Thanks for popping in today!
