Our theme for this one is SPOTS AND/OR STRIPES

I have been making a list of my images appropriate for male cards, because it's actually quite hard wading through all my images, when I need to make a male card.

I've chosen one by Hetty Clare for this one.  The image is called Lazy Hammock Day.  I have coloured the image with Copics and drawn in the two trees, to hold up the hammock.

My papers are from the Maja Design Denim & Friends paper pack.  I've added a strip of burlap and a few Echo Park enamel dots.

I wanted to keep this one flat and easy to slide into an envelope for posting, so I kept the burlap within the card borders and didn't add any dimensional embellishments.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #471

Hello fellow paper crafters! 

Our new challenge is live and we have two fabulous sponsors this fortnight!

I have used a Hetty Clare image called Smile.  I've added the message.

I have coloured the image with markers and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My papers and the tag are from the Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses paper pack.  The two swirls are Little Birdie laser cuts.  I decided to leave them 'raw', but they actually come pre-primed, which was perfect for me anyway.

My flowers are 49 and Market, and I've added a few pearls.

2019 is nearly over, and this will be our last Penny's challenge for the year.  We'll be back on the 8th of January, and moving to fortnightly challenges instead of weekly.

I've used a fun image from Hetty Clare on my birthday card.  It's called Penguin Party.  I've coloured the image with markers and used a set of Spellbinders die to cut out the image and sentiment.

My papers are from the DCWV The Glitter Stack.  It's one of my oldest and favourite paper packs, with few pieces big enough to use as full base papers now.  I've cut the one paper using a Creative Expressions edge die.

The glittery gifts are Art Artwork stickers.
