POLKADOODLES PANCAKE HEAVEN

This adorable image is one of the new releases from Polkadoodles, called Pancake Heaven, and I have been lucky enough to create a launch card with her!  This new release is absolutely perfect for Shrove Tuesday, coming up next week.  My previous post showcases the other new release.

I have coloured the image with markers.  The sentiment is part of the new release.  The little scalloped frames are from the Winnie Fruit Punch collection, and the paper is from the Sugar Sprinkles collection.  The table setting goodies were cut from the From My Kitchen Cricut Cartridge, and the mini mixer, spoon and spatular are Dress It Up buttons.

Well, if you celebrate Shrove Tuesday, I wish you well, and if not... Who needs an excuse to eat pancakes, right?!

WOODEN SHOES

Cute As A Button has a Monthly Facebook challenge, using a particular image, which you can get for free, if you participated in the previous month's challenge.  This will be my first time participating there.  

This gorgeous image is from Cute As A Button, and is called Wooden Shoes.  I have coloured her with markers and then cut her out and pasted her onto a page from the Heartfelt Creations Woodsy Wonderland Collection.  The purple paper is from the same collection, as are the tags.  To that I've added Green Tara flowers and Bo Bunny swirls.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #430: LOVE & KISSES

Good Morning ProMarker lovers!!  We have a new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers today and Lorraine has chosen the theme for the week:

LOVE & KISSES!

With only a week to go until Valentine's Day, it's the perfect opportunity to focus all your attention on LOVE!  However, it doesn't have to be a Valentine's Day card!  I decided to make an anniversary card instead:

I used Kiss For Valentines, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  I actually really battled with my colouring on this card.  I have been systematically replacing my older ProMarkers and realising as I've used the new ones, how terribly dry my older ones were.  The new markers are wet with ink, and I've almost had to relearn to use them, as I've had to change my style to accommodate that! I am loving how vibrant the new markers are making everything!  

My papers are from the Dovecraft Baby Steps pack.  It may have been intended for baby cards, but it was perfect for this adorable image and our theme for the week!  The stitched frames are from the Creative Dies Wonky Stitches Collection, and the flowers are all Jenni B.  There's also a strip of lace across the centre of the card.

BUNNY LOVE

This adorable image is the Gerda Steiner Designs February freebie, called Spring Bunny Friends.  I have coloured it with markers.  I added the butterfly to the image - a magazine freebie stamp.  The stitched circle around them is a Poppy Crafts die, the solid circle is a KaiserCraft die, and the shiny hearts are Spellbinders dies.

My papers are from the Dovecraft Berry Blush collection.  The flowers are all 49 and Market, and the little pearl hearts are Always & Forever.

SOCCER STAR

This is a Paper shelter digi, called Soccer Star, and I have coloured him with ProMarkers.  The background was coloured with ProMarkers, then inked with Distress Ink, and I used gel pens for the streamers.

The yellow paper is from the Carta Bella Toy Box paper pack.  The soccer ball border and heart were cut on my Cameo.  The stamps were both freebies with magazines.  I particularly love the swirly one!

EXPLODING BOX CARD

This is the first time I've made one of these cards, and I absolutely loved it!  Once I'd done all the measurements and planning, it was really easy.

My papers are from the DCWV The Glitter Stack.  I used a KaiserCraft scalloped circle die and 2 Creative Dies Wonky Stitches dies.  The adorable monkeys, the name Shepherd and the number 1 were all cut on my Cameo.  The birthday stamp is Mudra.

I placed monkeys on two sides on the outside of the box:

This is the inside of the outer layer:

 I then cut a slightly smaller inner layer.  This is the outward facing surface of the inner layer:

 And the inward facing side of the inner layer:

The 'exploded' box:

And the lid:

If you haven't tried one of these, give it a go!  It's far easier than it looks!
