DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS AURORA MASQUERADE BALL

This is Aurora from Digi Doodle Studios, and she's heading off to a Masquerade Ball!

I have coloured the image with markers, and then inked the edges with Distress Ink.  I also added white gel pen 'sparkles' to her dress and background.  The frame around the image is a Spellbinders die cut.  

I've used a Poppy Crafts scalloped circle to cut out the sentiment, which is an Ultimate Crafts stamp, and added a few enamel dots to the sentiment.

My papers are from the Craftwork Cards Venetian pack.  I've added a few feathers, Prima flowers and a little Jenni B mask.

The team has used images from Fabrika Fantasy this week.  I've used Cute Zebra on my card, and coloured the image with markers.  How cute is this image!!

My papers are from the DCWV Nana's Kids stack.  The sentiment is an Echo Park stamp, and both the image and sentiment were cut out using Spellbinders dies.  I've added a ribbon and remade bow and an assortment of buttons.

Good Morning lovely crafters!

This week at The Paper Shelter, your theme is

  COLOUR IT!

(So no pre-coloured images)

I needed to make a card for a 50th, so I chose this gorgeous image, called She Is Charming, because she's preparing for a big night out.  My image has been coloured with markers.

My paper is from the Ciao Bella Broccato Estense pack.  How beautiful is this paper!!  The edges have been distressed and inked.  I've punched double holes on the tag, to resemble the design on the paper and tied them off with a ribbon.  The 50 is Making Memories.

The resin corners are Melissa Frances and the resin mirror is Prima.  I've added shiny silver card behind it.  My flowers are all Prima.  I've also added a strip and bow of stretchy lace.

We have a new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers today, and your theme is:

With Mother's Day this weekend, it's a great opportunity to make something girly!

Up for grabs this week is a 6-pack of Promarkers!

I have used an image I've had printed and waiting for colouring, for quite a while.  It's from Sweet Escape Digis, and it's called Heart.  I've coloured my image with Promarkers, of course!

I've used: 

Skin: Violet; Coral; Soft Peach; Oatmeal; Blush; Almond

Hair: Burnt Sienna; Tan; Putty; Satin; Saffron

Jacket: Burnt Sienna; Tan; Putty; Satin

Pink: Maroon (scarf only); Fuchsia; Pink Carnation; Blossom

Eyes: China Blue; Lilac; Mint Green

Background: Cool Greys 1 & 2; Blossom

I used a Spellbinders die to cut my image out.  My papers are from the Craft & You My Wedding pack, and the Fabric Decoru Wild Orchid pack.  I've distressed all the edges.  I've added a crocheted doily and a strip of lace.  My flowers are Prima and Celebr8.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS MAY CHALLENGE: SPARKLE &/OR SHIMMER

Good Morning everybody!

It's the 1st of the month, and that means we're kicking off a new challenge at Digi Doodle Studios today.  Our theme for the month is:

SPARKLE &/OR SHIMMER

This beautiful image is called Cricket Willow Grace Fairy.  I have coloured the image with markers, and added a little extra sparkle with Stickles on her wings and sparkle wand.  

My paper is from the Bo Bunny Secret Garden Collection.  I've distressed and inked the edges of the paper and image.  I've added a strip of burlap, two strips of lace and a crocheted doily.  My die cut leaves were offcuts from previous die cuts that I kept aside, because they were so pretty.  My flowers are Petaloo and Green Tara.

MY BESTIES AUSSIE'S CHALLENGE MAY

We have a new challenge starting at My Besties Aussie's Challenge today, with a few beautiful images showcased!

I have used Sweet Lil Fae and coloured the image with markers.  I've added a daisy for her to sit on.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Lush Lilac Collection.  My plan is to add an age number to the scroll in the bottom left corner, when I decide who'll be getting the card.  I've added some cheesecloth and two strips of lace.  My flowers are Prima.  I've also added a few Liquid Pearls dots.
