I decided to go with this adorable couple, called True Love from the Work & Play 9: Love & Kisses Collection.  My papers, the 2 sentiments and the scalloped heart frame are from the same collection.  In fact, this collection is so versatile for all things love, I'm finding it irresistible! Here's a cute wedding card I made with it 2 weeks ago.

SHE IS ADORABLE!

This is a card for a little one's first day at a new school.  I have used a Paper Shelter digi for this card, called She is Adorable!, and coloured her with markers.  My papers are from the DCWV The Homeroom Stack.  I typed up the sentiment, and the school goodies are Jolee's.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #362: ANYTHING GOES

Hello everybody!  

There's another fantastic challenge starting at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges today, with two great prizes up for grabs:

I was lucky enough to get to work with this gorgeous stamp set from Sparkle n Sprinkle, called Rustic Flowers Snapdragons, which I coloured with markers.  The sentiments with this set are so warm and heartfelt, that it made me think of cheering someone up with the gift of some flowers, and placing them in a window to soak up the sun.  

I created the shutters using papers from the DCWV Good Wood Stack and cut them on my Cricut.  I couldn't find shutters that looked quite the way I wanted them to, so I used a fence from the Heritage cartridge instead, and just turned it on it's side.  I coloured the back (inside) of the shutters, with markers.

I don't know about you, but I battle with cards for men, so Kitty's theme was a great opportunity to get one done early this year.  I got to use Boogie Time on my card.  She is ever so cute!  I have coloured her with ProMarkers and used Liquid Pearls for the streamers.  I did the background to the stamp, using Tim Holtz stencils and Distress Ink, and drew the grout in with ProMarkers.

I've whipped out several paper packs for this card: The colourful brick paper at the back is from the Ella & Viv Graffiti Kit pack; The Route 66 paper is from the Hunkydory Little Book of Planes, Trains & Automobiles; the 'rules' sentiment is from the Authentique Rugged pack; and the 'awesome dude' sentiment and beer glass tag are from the Authentique Dapper pack.

BOOKWORM ELORA

This gorgeous digi is from Make It Crafty, and is called Bookworm Elora.  I coloured her with markers.  If you go and see the original digi, you will see that I decided to fill in the gaps between her flowing curls with more hair, just to give it a fuller look.  I have added Glossy Accents to her glasses.

My papers are Papermania.  The teacher clipboard is Jolee's, and the book and stationery are Jenni B.

DIGI CHOOSDAY WEEK 1

Hello crafty friends!

It's a really exciting day!! It's the first challenge of the year at Digi Choosday, where it's always Anything Goes, and this is my first creation as part of this fantastic team!

The team was challenged with making An Unusual Shaped Card this week.

I used 3 digis from the Work & Play 9: Love & Kisses Collection: 

Priest, Bride & Groom, and the church, which comes as part of the Download Bundle.

I layered all the elements into my Cricut Design program, and welded them together to make a uniquely shaped base card and then cut the individual digis which I have coloured with markers.  I added a few details with gel pens and jewelled up little Winnie's crown with gems.  The priest and couple have been stuck on with puffy pads.

This collection is full of everything love and marriage, and the Download Bundle has a few predesigned unusual shaped cards, ready to print and cut!
