PASSION FOR MARKERS MEGA CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE: ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning everyone!

Our MEGA CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE kicks off today.  Our theme for the next 4 weeks is:
ANYTHING GOES

We have fantastic prizes up for grabs from the wonderful sponsors that support our challenge throughout the year:

1 prize of winner's choice (i.e. single stamp, stencil, or die)

3 digi images

£20.00 voucher

2 digi images

£10.00 voucher

3 digi images

2 digi images

£6.00 voucher

I've used a KennyK image called Happy Hour.  I've sent the image to my Cameo to cut it out, and then coloured the image with Copics.

My paper is from the Studio Light Romantic Christmas paper pack.  I've stamped the sentiment directly onto the paper using a Rare Earth stamp.  My flowers are a mix of Prima and Green Tara, and the pearls are The Paper Boutique.

Wishing everyone a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!

DONUT GUY

I do a lot of baking and one of my hubby's friends recently commented on the fact that he hadn't brought any of my biscuits to their workshop recently.  He loves them!  He also loves donuts (which I don't make).

I decided his birthday card should have Cookie Guy from Kenny K on it.

I coloured the image with Copics and used a freebie stencil and Distress Ink for the brick wall.

My papers are from the Ciao Bella Collateral Rust paper pack.  I've added a few Prima 'screws', and a strip of twine.

The 'happy birthday' is a Make It Crafty laser cut and the donuts are Jolee's.

Thanks for popping in for a look today!

SOPHISTICATED DAD

This is such a fantastic male image.  It's called Sophisticated Gentleman, from Kenny K.  I've used the image before.  You can find that post here.

This time I've used the image for a Father's Day card.

I've coloured the image with markers and framed it with a Spellbinders die cut frame.

My papers are from two different paper packs: the plaid from the PhotoPlay Best Dad Ever pack, as is the #1 Dad tag; and the print paper from the Simple Stories Dad paper pack, as is the sentiment running across the top.  The print paper turned out to be such a fantastic find, because my Dad's grandfather came from the town of Peebles in Scotland, and if you look at the bottom left corner of that paper, you'll see Peebles listed.  I cut the piece I needed specifically to show that little bit.

I've used a Bo Bunny glitter brad for the tag.  The wine barrel and goodies are Jenni B.

That's it from me!  Thanks for popping in for a look!

OLYMPIC DAD

I have a Father's Day card to share today, using a fun image from Kenny K, called Olympic Runner.

I have coloured the image with markers and used a white gel pen to add a few 'white hot' flames.  My papers are from the Simple Stories Dad paper pack, and the sentiment tag and chequered stripes are from the PhotoPlay Best Dad Ever collection.  I've added a few pearls.

That's it for today!  Thanks for popping in for a look!

Cookie Guy

The recipient of this card is into all things IT, but I was battling to find decent embellishments for his card.  I ended up settling on the computer monitor and mouse I've used and cut them on my Cameo.

I've used a KennyK image called Cookie Guy, and coloured him with markers.

My papers and tag are from the Maja Design Walking in the Forest pack.  The birthday message was a freebie stamp.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #538: CLEAN & SIMPLE

https://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/

Good Morning Promarker lovers!

Our lovely Lorraine has chosen your theme this week.  We're going
CLEAN & SIMPLE
this week.

Up for grabs this week is a $6 store voucher from our sponsor

https://www.disdigistamps.com/

Now I must admit, when I saw the theme this week, I had a minor panic attack, because Clean & Simple is a really tough one for me!

I've chosen an image from Kenny K, called Party Time.  I've used the following Promarkers on my image:

Skin: Coral, Oatmeal; Blush
Hair: Black, Cool Grey 5; Burnt Sienna
Black: Black, Cool Greys 4 & 5
Blue: True Blue; Azure; Cyan; Arctic Blue
Green: Pine; Grass; Bright Green
Yellow: Sunflower; Tulip Yellow; Buttercup
Red: Burgundy; Cardinal Red
'Silver': Cool Greys 2 - 4
Ground: Burnt Sienna; Cinnamon; Praline

I have used a Poppy Crafts die to frame the image and inked the edges with Fired brick Distress Ink.

I cut the red frame from plain cardstock, with a blade.  The strip across the middle is Washi Tape, and the two beer glasses are Dress It Up buttons.

I have stamped the sentiment directly onto the base card.

Phew!  Clean and Simple done!  I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week!

Thanks for popping over for a look!

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #486: FOR A CHILD/ADD STITCHING

Good Morning Promarker fans!

Our latest challenge has gone live and we have a choice of themes for you this week:

Elaine has decided that you can either make something for a child, OR add stitching to your creation (real or faux).  Of course, you could do both!

Up for grabs this week is a $6 store voucher from

I decided to go with both themes.  I've made a card for a birthday boy using an image from Kenny K, called Victory Boy.  I have of course, coloured the image with Promarkers, but for the first time, I used a different set of colours for my skin tones, and I'm THRILLED with the results!

I used:
Skin: Violet (😱 I know!!!); Spice; Soft Peach; Oatmeal; Blush; Almond
Hair: Burnt Sienna; Raw Sienna; Caramel; Sandstone
Red: Burgundy; Cardinal Red; Ruby; Lipstick Red
Blue: True Blue; Azure; Arctic Blue; Powder Blue
Grey: Cool Greys 2 - 5
White: Cool Greys 1 - 3

My papers are from the Echo Park Bark pack.  For my stitching, I used a series of Poppy Crafts stitched frames to cut out my papers and sentiments.  I've added a few enamel dots and teeny stars, as well as a few no-name stickers.

Well, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you create this week!  For a little more inspiration, pop back to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have created.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look!

CHEERS DUDE!

This fun image is from Kenny K.  It's called Cheers Dude.  I have coloured the image with markers, and cut it out with my Cricut.  The 40 was cut on my Cameo.  The font is Marker Felt.  My papers and sentiment are from the Heartfelt Creations Coffee Talk collection.  I've added 2 little spanner brads (Eyelet Outlet)

SEXY ELF

My husband came to raid my Christmas card stock, for a card for his friends at the local tool shop, where he spends almost as much as I spend on crafting supplies.  There was nothing quite masculine enough for his liking, and so I allowed him to look though my digis to choose something he thought would do the job.  (That's like him letting me flip though his drill bits, right?  Quite a privilege!)

Anyway, he chose this cutie from KennyK, called Sexy Elf.  He says it's because she's holding a hammer.  Mmmmm, right.... 😉  Jokes aside, I think she's perfect for the job!

I added the Christmas tree background from Super Colouring, and added the tool shop's logo to it.  The images have been coloured with markers.  My papers are from the Photo Play Mad Plaid Christmas pack (male suitable).  The sentiment is from the Dovecraft Christmas Basics range.

The Christmas stockings are Create Christmas Craft Stickers, and inside them I've placed mini tools by Darice Timeless Minis
