This is the first time I've made one of these cards, and I absolutely loved it! Once I'd done all the measurements and planning, it was really easy.
My papers are from the DCWV The Glitter Stack. I used a KaiserCraft scalloped circle die and 2 Creative Dies Wonky Stitches dies. The adorable monkeys, the name Shepherd and the number 1 were all cut on my Cameo. The birthday stamp is Mudra.
I placed monkeys on two sides on the outside of the box:
This is the inside of the outer layer:
I then cut a slightly smaller inner layer. This is the outward facing surface of the inner layer:
And the inward facing side of the inner layer:
The 'exploded' box:
And the lid:
If you haven't tried one of these, give it a go! It's far easier than it looks!
