Good Morning lovely crafters!
Before I tell you about my card, I'm wondering what your crafty process is. Do you colour your image first, and then decide how you're going to use it, picking papers and a design? Or do you design the card first, and then colour your image, knowing exactly what size to print it and colours you want to use, to match the papers you've chosen? My sister often laughs at me, because I often design the card first, as I did with this one. I had the card completed before the image even hit my computer screen.
I flip between the two methods, but I think card before image is my favourite.
This week we're sponsored by
who are offering our winner 2 digi images
Our theme for the week, chosen by the lovely Karen, is:
🌸FLOWER POWER🌼
I have used Pretty as a Picture on my card. I have coloured the image with the following ProMarkers:
Skin: Coral; Soft peach; Putty; Almond; Satin; Ivory
Hair and palette: Cocoa; Cinnamon; Praline (brush marker)
Dress & shoes: Rose Pink; Baby Pink; Pale Pink
Socks; Warm grey 1; Blender
Flowers, paints and paint brushes; dress bow: Magenta; Rose Pink; Apple; Cool Aqua; Yellow; Pumpkin; Purple; Maroon
My papers are from the Stamperia Garden pack. I've used Spellbinders dies for some of the papers, the image and the sentiment, and Poppy Crafts dies for the doily and watering can with flowers. The sentiment is a Clear Impressions stamp.
To finish off the card, I've added a strip of lace and a few pearls.
Be sure to pop back to the challenge blog to see what the rest have put together to inspire you this week, or head straight to our fantastic sponsor to see what else they have available!
Thanks so much for popping in for a look today ☺️

It definitely varies for me... some images tell me what the card will look like so I make the card first, and others I run with the image and then try to find the card design that matches!
ReplyDeleteYour method clearly worked for you on this one because WOW!!!! This is one of my favourites of yours.
Beautiful card Linda. Love that image.
