DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE: BIRDS & BEASTS

Good Morning crafters!

We have a wonderful challenge running on the blog this month!  Our theme for the month is:

BIRDS & BEASTS

So... we'd like to see an animal on your creation this month.

I've made a New Baby card using Hadley Hippo.  I've coloured the image with markers and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

I had intended to colour the image with softer colours, so when it turned out a little brighter than planned, I decided to tone it down with softer paper in the background.  

My paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Buttons and Blooms pack.  

My ribbon changed along the way too!  I had planned to use a sheer broad ribbon, and I had already made a bow and cut the strip I needed, when I spotted this beautiful ribbon in my stash.  The colours and design were perfect!

The resin corner is Prima and all the baby goodies are Jolee's.  I've also added a few little buttons and pearls.
