PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #661: HOBBIES

 

Good Morning lovely crafters!

It's time for a new challenge at Passion for Markers, and this week, our lovely Natalie would like to see

HOBBIES

I have used Day Dreaming on my card, and the name of the image says it all.  Day Dreaming can be a hobby, right?

I have coloured the image with Copics, using the following colours:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000; R20

Hair and wooden box: E57; E55; E53 (E59)

Green: YG67; YG63; YG61

Blue: B99; B97; B95; B93; B91

White: C3; C1; C0

Sky: B000

My papers are from the DCWV Wild & Fancy paper pack.  I've used a Creative Dies Wonky Stitches die for the sentiment and tied it off with a ribbon from my stash.

The two dragonflies are Little Birdie and the pearls are Pink Fresh Studio.

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #651: LET'S HAVE SOME PINK

 

Good Morning my fellow crafters!

We have a super theme this week, chosen by our lovely Elaine:

LET'S HAVE SOME PINK

Our generous sponsor this week:

I decided to go with a clean and simple Anniversary card this week, using Bundle of Hearts.

I have coloured the image with Copics, using the following colours:

Pink: RV14; RV13; RV11; RV10

Fir: E57; E35; E33; E30

Nose: E79; E77; E74; E71

Blue: B00; B000; B0000

I have typed the sentiment directly onto the image panel, in LD Wedding Ornate font.

The background was created using a Picket Fence Studios stencil and Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Spun Sugar).  To finish off, I added a few Paper Boutique pearls.  I have then mounted the image panel onto my pink base card, using foam squares.

So... no Design Paper for me at all this week!

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #605: ADD A TAG

Good Morning crafty friends!

We have a fun new challenge on the go at Passion for Markers, and our lovely Kitty has chosen your theme.  This week we'd like you to

ADD A TAG

to your creation

Up for grabs this week are 3 digi images from

I have used adorable little Mia on my card.  I have coloured the image with Copics, and thankfully, this time I remembered to make a note of which colours I used along the way, so I could share them with you:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000

Hair: E57; E55; E53

Blue: B06; B04; B02; B01

Black: C9; C7; C5; C3

White: C2; C1; C0

Ground: N4; N3; N2

My papers are from the Echo Park Coffee and Friends collection.  The collection also comes with stickers, so I added a few of those too.  

My tag was cut using a Poppy Crafts die, and the sentiment is cut from one of the papers in the same collection.  I've used an Offray ribbon for the tag.

Lastly, I added one little Green Tara flower.

It's time for another fun challenge at Passion for Markers, and this week our lovely Karen has chosen your theme.  She's like to see your CELEBRATION creations this week.

I've used a fabulous male character on my card, called Henry - Why Not.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Spellbinders die to cut him out.

My papers are from a brand new paper pack that arrived in a super crafty order today:  Echo Park Magical Birthday Boy.  The little tags and Birthday sentiment are part of the pack.  'Let's celebrate' is a laser cut from Make It Crafty, which I have coloured with a black marker.  I've also added 3 Prima Say it in Crystals dots.

We're all looking forward to seeing what you're celebrating this week!

Good Morning Lovely ProMarker lovers!

I've used an adorable image from our sponsor, called Bundle of Hearts.

I have used the following Pro & Brush Markers to colour my image:

Fur: Cinnamon; Praline; Blush

Nose: Black; Cool Greys 4 & 5

Pink: Wild Orchid; Pink Pearl

Purple: Purple; Amethyst; Lilac

Green: Green; Mint Green; Pastel Green

Yellow: Amber; Canary

Sky: Cloud Blue

Clouds: Cool Greys 1 & 2; Colourless Blender

I've used a KaiserCraft circle die to cut out my image, a little bigger than the given circle, so that I could have a circular border around the bear that I could colour, hopefully adding to the illusion of him popping out from the background.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Cascading Petals paper pack.  I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the border, and a freebie die from a magazine for the doily.

I've used quite an assortment of flowers.  They're by Prima, Little Birdie, and Rosie's Studio.

The first half of my sentiment was typed up on my computer and I've used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.  The second half (Love) is a stamp and die set by Crafti Potential.

I've made a little bow with a sheer Offray ribbon, and added a little wooden heart button I had in my stash.

Lastly, I've added a few iridescent pearls by Queen & Co.

I have used Stanley - Happy Days on my card.  

I used the following Promarkers to colour this image:

Brown: Caramel; Dusky Pink; Satin

Pink: Dusky Rose; Cocktail Pink; Pale Pink

Green: Mint Green; Pastel Green; Tea Green

Centre label: Satin - I intend to add the initials of the couple receiving the card, when I know who will get it.

Teddy nose: Cool Greys 4 & 5

This theme immediately brought to mind this wonderful Celebrate die from Creative Expressions.  I have used it before, but always extended it beyond the borders of the card.  This time I wanted a contrast inside the borders of the card.

My papers are from the Stamperia Little Girl paper pack.  I've inked all edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, and added KaiserCraft pearls.  The paper has such pretty details, so I didn't want to add any more, that could cover it up.

We have a brand new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers today!  Our lovely Donna has chosen the theme.  She would like you to use HALLOWEEN COLOURS on your project this week.  It doesn't have to be Halloween themed, just using the traditional halloween colour palette.

I have used the sweet Blitz on my card, and coloured her with ProMarkers.

I used:

Hair & Pants: Black; Cool Greys 3-5

Top & Shoes: Plum; Purple; Amethyst

Scarf: Pear Green; Lime Green; Lime Zest; Orange; Pumpkin; Gold

Skin: Cinnamon; Coral; Sunkissed Pink; Putty; Blush

Sky: Cool Aqua; Arctic Blue

Clouds: Ice Greys 1-3; Blue Pearl

Ground:  I first coloured it in browns: Sandstone; Raw Sienna; Cocoa; Burnt Sienna

And then went over it in the same greens I'd used for the scarf

My papers are from the Hunkydory Over The Rainbow pack.  The sentiments are Jenny Ellory clear stamps.  The flowers are Petaloo; Green Tara and Little Birdie, and the gem swirls are Bella! Bling.

It's Tuesday, and that means another fun challenge at Passion for Promarkers, where Karen has chosen your theme: 

She'd like to see Glitter and Sparkle on your creation this week!

are sponsoring our challenge this week, and they'll be giving our lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice!

I've used Scilla Fairy on my card, and of course, coloured her with Promarkers.  I've used a white pencil to add a bit of highlight to certain areas.  I've also added Stickles to her wings.

Since glitter and sparkle was the theme, I used glittered cardstock for the Spellbinders die cut frame around her, and glittered tape for the rectangle frames.  The sentiment was also cut out using a Spellbinders die.  The sentiment itself was a magazine freebie.  My flowers are 49 and Market and Prima.  Last of all, this beautiful paper is from the Lemon Craft Violet Silence pack.
