PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #755: SHAPED CARDS

 

Good Morning everyone.

This week we're making 

SHAPED CARDS

Uo for grabs this week, we have 2 digi images from our generous sponsor

I've chosen Muriel the Medusa for my card.

I used to dread this theme, but then I realised that my Cameo or my Cricut could cut any shape card I want, and weld shapes together, etc.

I've cut my tree card in my Cameo.

I've coloured the image with Copics and then used a blade to cut her out.  

My sentiment has been cut out using a Poppy Crafts die and I've popped it in, under one of the tree layers.  

I decided to leave it right there, because I didn't want to start adding tons of embellishments to the tree, making it harder and harder to see.

The girls have created some masterpieces this week.  Be sure to pop over for a look.

Good Morning crafty friends!

This week we have one of my favourite sponsors for fun images:

I've gone with Ballerina Betty for my card.  I just love that hair!!

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.

I've used two other dies on my card: a Bo Bunny die for the sentiment tag, and a Creative Expressions 'edger' die for the giant 'Happy Birthday'.

My papers are from the Stamperia Brocante Antiques paper pack.  I've added a Birch Creative strip of lace and a few pearls.

I've used DJ Dad Rock on my card.  

I've coloured the image with Copics, and used one of my favourite colour combos: blue and brown.  My papers and a sentiment sticker are from the Authentique Rugged collection.  I've added American Crafts mosaic numbers and Eyelet Outlet vinyl record brads.

This fantastic image from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps is called Pansy Potter.  I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My papers are from the PhotoPlay Notting Hill Book Store paper pack.  The kitty and two plant pots are from the same collection.  The corner flower and sentiments are die cuts from the Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl! collection.  I've also added a few Echo Park enamel dots.

I plan to use silver peel off letters to put the name of the beautiful woman I'll be sending this card to, on the little blue panel.  I have some of her pottery in my home.

Dr. Digi images are always fantastic, and I particularly love the male images.  They're perfect for fun male cards.  This one is called Derek Clapton.

I have coloured the image with Copics, and used papers from the Memory Box Woodsy Plaid paper pack. I've added an Offray ribbon and a few Echo Park enamel dots.

My papers are from the Carta Bella Farmhouse Living paper pack.  I've used two Paper Rose stitched banner dies for the 'flags' and a Spellbinders die for the sentiment.  The sentiment itself is a Mark Bardsley stamp.  I've added Simple Stories enamel dots to the sentiment panel.  The ribbon has been repurposed from Christmas crackers.
