I have had to produce a few wedding and engagement cards recently, but this is one I had ready, in my stash.  My papers for this card came from the Maja Design Vintage Romance pack and I have distressed all the edges.  The heart was cut from the Edge To Edge Cricut Cartridge.  I have added an assortment of flowers.

AN ENGLISH ENGAGEMENT

It seems everyone in my family is either getting engaged, getting married, or having a baby, right now, and I've had to whip up a few quick cards to meet the celebratory demand!  This is for the latest happy announcement in the family.

A quick trip to my local fabric/craft store for some pretty, delicate lace, one 49 and Market flower, a Dress It Up engagement ring button, and a Congratulations stamp by Simone Clay.

SOFT ANNIVERSARY

Today's make is an anniversary card.  I used several dies on the card: Sizzix hearts; Kaisercraft cherry blossoms, and a Cheery Lynn scroll.  The smaller heart and the scroll are raised.  

The message is a KaiserCraft stamp.  The background paper is from the Bo Bunny Madeleine pack, and I've distressed the edges.  I've added flowers and pearls from my stash.

MAJA'S BOY

I haven't had the chance to do too much crafting lately, as life outside my craft room has nastily intruded, but I managed to whip this up yesterday.

As the post's title suggests, I have used Maja Design papers on this card (one of my favourite designers), from the Vintage Baby pack.  I have distressed all the edges.  I've added a strip of Simplicity lace, some baby-design KaiserCraft wooden embellishments, which I've painted white, and a stunning little Cheery Lynn Designs die cut pram.

HEARTFELT WEDDING

This is the wedding card which follows this engagement card. 

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Timeless Amour pack.  The birds are a diy Invitations rubber stamp.  Just Married is by Making Memories.  The heart is a 2Crafty embellishment, which I coloured with ProMarkers.  The wooden ring holder is by Jolee's.

SHABBY CHIC LOVE

I decided to contrast my last card with something soft and pink.  My papers are from the Couture Creations Magnolia Lane pack.  I've distressed all the edges.  The flowers are mostly from my 'un-named stash', but the glittery ones are Prima.  I've cut up a few pearl swirls to place them how I want them.  They're a mix of Bella! Bling, Want 2 Scrap and Francheville.  The little heart pearls are Craft Consortium.  The other embellishments are Prima resin, which I've lightly painted with Vintage Silk Opal Magic Wax (Prima), and a dash of Prima Acrylic Paint Sparks (Butterfly Spells)

SHABBY SUMMER ROSES

This card is for my daughter-in-law's birthday.  My papers come from the Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics pack, and I have distressed the edges.  I love the soft look of these papers!  I have used two strips of lace, a pearl twisted ribbon and assorted roses, with random pearls dotted around.  The little frame is resin, left plain.

SOFT VINTAGE

When thinking 'vintage', you just have to immediately think Maja Design, right?  My papers and the tag in the top right corner are all from the Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics pack.  I have used a Spellbinders border die for the swirly strip.  The centre frame and corsets are Prima resin, the bottom right corner is Melissa Frances resin, and the top left is Creative Scrapbooking.  I have used an assortment of flowers and buttons, including Prima, KaiserCraft and Bo Bunny.
