PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #463

Welcome back everybody!

The team have had the honour of using images from Fred She Said.

I've used Emma With Her Frills On.  It's such a lovely 'old fashioned' image.  I've coloured the image with markers and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My papers and sentiment are from the Heartfelt Creations Calla Lily Collection.  I've used a Bo Bunny die to cut the doily and then cut it in half to use the pieces in two different places around the image.

My pearl swirls are Want 2 Scrap and my flowers are 49 and Market.

We have a super simple challenge for you this week!  Our lovely Lorraine would like you to INCLUDE A TAG on your creation.

I've made an easel card using Jack & Diane.

I've used the following Promarkers:

Skin: Coral; Oatmeal; Blush; Pale Pink

Her hair and the ground: Burnt Sienna; Cinnamon; Praline

His hair: Black; Cool Greys 4 & 3

Purple: Purple; Amethyst; Lilac

Yellow: Spice; Canary; Lemon; Soft Lime

Green: Green; Mint Green; Pastel Green

White: Ice Greys 3 & 1

Blue: Midnight Blue; Denim Blue; Powder Blue

My papers are from the Maja Design Coffee in the Arbour pack.  I've inked all the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink.  I've added a few pearl swirls and 49 and Market flowers.

I've used a Poppy Crafts die to make my tag, and used two different stamps for the sentiment.  The 'Happy Anniversary' is SC Design.  The other was a craft magazine freebie.

PAPER NEST DOLLS CAT LOVER EMMA

The moment I saw this image from Paper Nest Dolls, I knew exactly who needed a card with it on!  My daughter is a pet sitter and while she loves fur in all forms, kitty fur is her passion.

The image is called Cat Lover Emma, and I have coloured it with markers.

My papers and little sentiment tag are from the Heartfelt Creations Purr-fect Posies Collection.  

The little white swirl is AnnaBelle. My flowers are a mix of 49 and Market and Dovecraft.  I've added a strip of lace and Doodlebug Design Inc enamel dots.  The Meow and paws are Dress It Up buttons.

If pup fur is more your thing, there's a matching image for dog lovers that I'm dying to colour up too.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE: MINDY'S NEW BOOTS

 

Digi Doodle Studios is celebrating the New Year with a New Release of 'SOMETHING NEW' images.  This one is called Mindy's New Boots.

 

I have coloured the image with markers and also used my markers to colour the Spellbinders die cut frame around the image and the Make It Crafty lazer-cut chipboard sentiment.

I've placed Mindy sitting in  a perfect little oval frame from the Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters paper pack.  The rest of my papers are from the same paper pack.  I've inked all the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

My flowers are all 49 and Market.  I've also added two strips of lace and a few pearls.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #410: SOMETHING SWEET

Good Morning crafters!

This week's theme is a lovely one! 

I don't know about you, but I have a serious sweet tooth!   While chocolate is my favourite treat, anything sweet will do for me.

Our theme for the week is:

SOMETHING SWEET

There are loads of images to match this theme at The Paper Shelter!  This adorable image is called Enchanted Breakfast.

I have coloured the image with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut it and the sentiment out.

The sentiment is a Clearly Besotted stamp.

My papers are from the First Edition Mulberry Kisses paper pack - one of my favourite oldies!  I've added a strip of Simplicity lace.

The two honeycomb lazercuts are Scrapaholics and my flowers are all 49 and Market.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE: NEW MOM

There's a wonderful New Release happening at Digi Doodle Studios later this week: A gorgeous set of images called SOMETHING NEW.

This image is called New Mom.  Look at that weeny babe!!!

 

I have coloured the image with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out. 

My papers are from the Little Birdie Pretty Pastels paper pack.  I've lined the edges of the inner paper, and one edge of the outer, with a strip of Birch lace.

The wonderful camp cot and baby toys are Jolee's.  The teddy in the corner and the flowers are Little Birdie.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS JAVA JADA

This is Java Jada from Digi Doodle Studios.  I have coloured her with markers and used a Spellbinders Nestabilities die to cut her out.  Our family loves their coffee, so for me, that's what she's drinking, but she could be drinking anything.  I just love the early morning feel of this beautiful image - tousled hair, sleep shirt, etc.

My papers are from the Ciao Bella Buongiorno Italiano paper pack.

I've added a crocheted doily and a ribbon from my stash.  My flowers are Prima, and almost all came in a set, so I didn't even have to think about the colours I wanted to include.  They just go so well together!
