Good Morning crafters!
This week at The Paper Shelter we'd like you to
ADD A SENTIMENT
to your creation
This beautiful image is called Wearing Spring. I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.
My sentiment is a freebie stamp from a craft magazine, and I've used another Spellbinders die to cut it out.
My papers are from the Ultimate Crafts Rambling Rose paper pack. I've added a ribbon from my stash and a few Sweet Huni Designs enamel dots.
The beautiful butterfly embellishment has a story! We are busy packing up our house for a big move and in one of my drawers is a package of pretty hair clips that either I, or my daughters have worn to a function, at some stage. I knew none of us would wear them again, so I added them to our "give away' box in preparation for our move.
Then a few days later, I walked past the box, spotted the hair clips and thought, 'STOP THE PRESSES! THAT WILL LOOK GORGEOUS ON A CARD!" So I retrieved them and asked my hubby to separate the embellishments from the clips, threw the clips out and now have a beautiful collection of 'new' embellishments for my cards.
Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize! Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand. You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.
Thanks for popping in to see my card today!
Linda
