Did you take advantage of the MASSIVE sale at Lili of the Valley back in May?  Even though I already had quite a list of LOTV images, the sale was too good to pass up, so I did.  That got me looking through all the LOTV images I had already bought, and I decided to use this one for an Anniversary card.  The image is called Loved Up.

Now this image comes without mouths on the couple's faces, so I had to draw them in.  I'm not really happy with how it turned out, but it's such a small part of the card, that I decided to keep it.

I have coloured the image with Copics, and used a white gel pen to add the sparkle to her dress.  The background was created using a My Favourite Things brick stencil and Distress Ink.

My paper comes from the Reminisce City Lights paper pack.  I used a Find It Trading Kampen die for the sentiment, and cut it from Hunkydory Marvellous Mirri card.  Lastly, I added a few Prima crystal dots.

Thanks so much for popping over for a look today!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Colour Crazy Challenge Week 35: Anything Hand Coloured
Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #103: Anything Goes

  1. A beautiful card and the couple looks great. Hugs

  2. Absolutely amazing, Linda. I know the feeling of having to complete a face :-) One of the reasons I dislike stamps that only have eyes or blank faces :-) Of course my peeve is made worse because I can't draw them in like you did :-) Awesome job as always! Lena xx

  3. Wow, beautiful coloring and love how you worked the gel pen on her dress, fabulous! You've created such an elegant card and using the brick stencil is the perfect backdrop! So glad you joined us for our ATG Challenge at Creative Knockouts!

  4. This is gorgeous, Linda! Love the sparkle effect you achieved on her gown! Thank you for sharing your project with us at the Crafts Galore Encore “Anything Goes” September Challenge. Good Luck and hope to see you again soon!
