PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #440: BUTTONS AND/OR BOWS

Hi Everybody!

We have a fabulous new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers today!  Karen has chosen your theme, and she'd like you to use buttons or bows on your creation.

We're being sponsored by
this week, and they're giving away a £10 voucher to their store!

I'm super excited to show you my creation this week!  My card evolved the more I thought about it!

I chose to showcase Sketchy Flower Frames.  I couldn't decide which one I liked best, so I decided to use all 4.  I then thought that I didn't really want to make a 'serious' floral card, because I've made a few of those recently, so to add a bit of fun, I added 3 little fairies to the flower frames: Flutterby Fairy to the top 2 frames, and Fairy and Unicorn and Sweet Fairy to the bottom 2 frames.

I have created a garden fence with frames cut out of it, through which you can see the field beyond.  The beautiful flowers in the field are poking through the frames in the fence, and weeny fairies are playing in the frames.  The images are all coloured with Promarkers.  I've added Stickles to the fairy wings and magic wand.

The 'fence' paper is from the 49 and Market Sand and Sea pack.  The trees framing and hanging over the fence, were cut on my Cameo, as was the grassy border in front.  The ivy growing up the fence is a border sticker.  The white flowers at the top of the ivy, and those amongst the grassy border are Jenni B.

And last, but not least, I added loads of buttons to the trees, to meet our theme, along with a few Liquid Pearl dots.

I hope you'll play along with us this week!  All you have to do is use your Winsor & Newton markers and follow the theme.  You certainly don't need to go quite as nuts as I did, adding your buttons or bows - even one will do!  Easy Peasy!

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #428: LOTS OF LAYERS

Hi everybody!

There's a new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers today, with a fantastic prize up for grabs!

The theme for the week is:
LOTS OF LAYERS

are generously offering our random winner a  £10 voucher for their store!

I got to use the Summer Louie set on my card, and coloured it all in with ProMarkers.  In this set you get Louie with a beer, Louie with a cocktail, and several sentiments, including the one I used.   I used both Louies on my card, but turned one into a Louise, by giving her a pink chair and colouring her a little lighter than the other Louie - just to make her look a little softer.

My papers are from the DCWV Peri & Peach stack.  I have used LOTS of dies on this card:
Xcut - the filigree heart behind the flowers on the left
Poppy Crafts - the 3 tags on the right; the heart balloons on the left
Spellbinders - the 2nd heart on the left
Creative Dies - stitched border edges
Sizzix - doily
Joy Crafts - the heart banner & the little clouds
Ultimate Crafts - popping champagne

My flowers are 49 and Market.

I also added a strip of lace and some cheesecloth.

I hope you won't feel too intimidated by the theme.  Feel free to interpret it any way you like.

As usual, to be in line to win our fantastic prize this week, all you have to do it use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products, and follow the theme.  Please mention in your post, which of the Winsor & Newton products you have used.

You can make you way back to the challenge here:

Good luck!

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #405: USE 3 PATTERNED PAPERS

It's time for a new challenge at Passion for ProMarkers, and this week Jacky has chosen the really fun theme of: USE 3 PATTERNED PAPERS!

This week our sponsor DigiStamp Boutique is offering our lucky winner a £10 voucher to spend in their store, which is a really fantastic prize!

For my card, I chose Alyssa Relaxing, and coloured her with ProMarkers.  She comes with the 'Pamper Yourself' sentiment.  She was cut out using a KaiserCraft die.

My 3 patterned papers come from two Fizzy Moon paper packs: the pink checkered paper from the Hearts and Flowers pack, and the lilac checkered paper and lilac dots, from the Birthday Wishes pack.

I decided to try a stepper card.  I've never made one before, and it was quite a lot of work measuring out each little piece of paper, but I love the final look of the card!  My embellishments are all Jolee's stickers, except for the rubber ducky, which is SandyLion.  I used White Opal and Lavender Lace Liquid Peals for her bubble bath, and added Glossy Accents to her glass and the bottle.  I inked her brick wall, using a Tim Holtz Layering Stencil, and drew her tiled floor.  'Today's the day' is a Lili of the Valley stamp.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you create this week!

So whip out all those patterned papers and get crafting!  Remember to mention which Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products you've used (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers), and once you've entered the challenge, head on over to DigiStamp Boutique to see all their fabulous images!
