PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #475: ANYTHING GOES

It's time for a new challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty, and we have two fabulous prizes up for grabs:

This beautiful image is from Lemon Shortbread.  It's called Rainy Days.

I have coloured the image with markers.

Around the image is a Spellbinders die cut frame.  I've used another die from the set for the sentiment.  The sentiment is a Stampendous! stamp.

My papers are from the Crafter's Choice Pale Garden paper pack.  I've distressed the edges.  I've added a strip of lace from my stash, and 49 and Market flowers.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #370: ANYTHING GOES

Hello everybody!

We have a brand new, exciting challenge starting at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges today, with two fantastic prizes up for grabs!

I am showcasing this fun image from Lemon Shortbread today.  It's called Electric Guitar Girl.  She looks like a real rock star to me, so I decided to let her be a fully-fledged artist with her own album, which is being listened to on the iPod, with the album cover visible on the iPod screen, and projected out ('enlarged') for us to get a closer look.

I have coloured the image with markers and used gel pens for a few highlights.  My paper is from the Hot Off The Press Confetti pack.  The treble clef and notes are Cameo cuts, cut from DCWV Glitter cardstock.  The 'Free the music' album title is a Heartfelt Creations cutting die and stamp, but it actually says Happy Birthday.  I blanked that out and typed up the sentiment on my computer.

Once the base card was made, I scanned it and printed off a shrunken copy, scaled down to fit the iPod screen.  The iPod is a Cameo cut.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #423: YOUR FAVOURITE COLOURS

It's that time again!  Time for another exciting challenge at Passion for Promarkers!  And this week you are going to LOVE the prize we have up for grabs!!!  Karen has chosen your theme this week.  She wants you to showcase YOUR FAVOURITE COLOURS this week.

Lemon Shortbread are sponsoring our challenge this week, and they are offering our lucky winner 3 digi stamps of their choice!!!  These digis are so gorgeous!  If you haven't been there already, do yourself a favour, and pop over to their store for a look!

I got to use Winter Snow Muff Girl, and coloured her with ProMarkers.  I did a few highlights with gel pens.  If I have to choose an overall favourite colour, it would have to be purple.  The background has also been coloured with ProMarkers, and onto that I stamped a few snowflakes with white Distress Ink.  I also drew a few with white gel pen, and stuck on 2 little snowflake stickers.

I made a snowy frame around the image with Liquid Pearls.  The top two snowflakes are wood, painted white.  My flowers are mostly 49 and Market.

Well, that's my card using this beautiful digi.  Now over to you!  All you have to do to be eligible to win in the random draw is to use your Winsor & Newton products (formerly Letraset) and follow the theme.

LEMON 60s

This is the first time I have used a Lemon Shortbread image, and I absolutely love her!! She is called Sixties Rock 'n Roll Girl, and I coloured her with ProMarkers.  The original image comes with a few more flowers around her, but I wanted the background, so I cut them off.  For the right vibe, you just have to listen to this in the background!

I felt her soft, 60s vibe needed a flower background, so I used a Cricut flower, which I layered several times, and cropped the bottom off.  The paper directly behind her is actually blue and pink smudges, from the DCWV Peri & Peach stack, but looks lilac on first glance.  The rest are plain cardstock.  I inked all the edges and added Stickles to the back base card.  The flowers are an assortment of Dress It Up buttons and Jenny B stickers, as well as tiny nail art stickers.  I've taken a close-up shot so you can see them properly.  I also added a few spots of Liquid Pearls.
