PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #632: TAKE INSPIRATION FROM YOUR BIRTHSTONE

I am born in April, so my birthstone is the DIAMOND.

This gorgeous image from our sponsor is called Anime Don't Forget. I couldn't wait to colour this image. I just love her hair!

I have coloured the image with Copics, using the following colours:

Skin: E04; E11; E21; E00; E000; R30

Hair: E59; E57; E55; E53

Eyes: BG18; BG13; BG11

Lips: E04; RV34; RV32

Tongue: R59; RV32

Top: V99; V95; V93; V91

Skirt: BV29; BV25; BV23; BV20

Waistband & Top Trim: C5; C3; C1

Background: C2; C1; C0

I've used a white gel pen to create the 'diamonds' on her skirt.

I've used a Creative Dies wonky Stitches oval to cut out the image.

My papers for this card come from the KaiserCraft Lilac Whisper paper pack. The sentiment is from the same collection. I've added lots of 'diamonds' and 'diamond' swirls by Prima and Doodlebug Designs. My flowers are 49 and Market.

The girls have each used their own birthstone as their inspiration this week, so I'm sure you'll be able to find lots of inspiration on the blog this week.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #492: ANYTHING GOES USING PAPER

Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have two super sponsors giving away prizes at Penny's this fortnight!

and

I have used a beautiful image from Stampers Delights called Anime Peace Out.

I have coloured the image with Copics and then used a Tim Holtz stencil and Distress Ink to create the background. Now I'm not sure you can tell, but the stencil is scribble hearts, and the negative spaces have been inked. It just looks like splices to me, but it created a fun background anyway, so I left it at that.

My papers are from the Ella & Viv Groovy Kit paper pack. I've added two ribbons from my stash - the thicker white one, and the cute flowers. I think the flower ribbon is First Edition, but I had it without a label in my ribbon box, so I'm not sure. It just happens to remind me of an old Easter paper pack by First Edition.

I typed up the sentiment and used two KaiserCraft dies to cut it out. I've also added 4 Dress It Up glittery flower buttons.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #481: ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning crafters!

We have a super new challenge on the go at Penny's, with two exciting prizes up for grabs:

I've used a fun image from Stamper's Delights, called Chibis Balloons 2. I have coloured the image with markers.

It's such a wonderful little scene, that I didn't want to lose by crowding the card, so I kept it super simple. My papers are from the PhotoPlay Roxie & Friends paper pack. I've added a few eyelets and threaded through twine.
