DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS SEQUANA MERMAID

This beautiful image is from Digi Doodle Studios.  It's called Sequana Mermaid.  I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out with a Creative Dies wonky stitches die.

My paper is from the Ciao Bella Under The Ocean pack - not that you can see much of it!

I've added an assortment of flowers by 49 and Market; Green Tara and Little Birdie.  The seaweed and jellyfish are also 49 and Market, from the Sand and Sea collection.  I've also added a few Prima Say It In Crystals swirls.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #431

I've been on the look out for images lately, that I can use on Anniversary cards, and this one from Imagine That is definitely one of the cutest I've seen.

It's called Llama Kisses.  The fun sentiment is part of the set.

I've coloured the image with markers, and cut it out using a Poppy Crafts die.  The heart is also a Poppy Crafts die cut, and the picket fence is a Couture Creations die cut.

My paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Floral Fashionista collection.  I've added a strip of wispy stuff and a strip of lace, and made a bow with a pretty ribbon from my stash.  The flowers are Prima and the little wooden hearts are KaizerCraft.

We're focusing on the girls at The Paper Shelter this week.  Your theme for the week:

BIRTHDAY GIRL

I've used Cool Skater on my card.  I've coloured the image with markers and cut it out with a Poppy Crafts die.  I've used the same set of dies for the sentiments.

My papers are from the DCWV Bouquet de Fleur pack, and to balance the fact that I've not gone too feminine with the image, I've kept the papers pink.  

My flowers are all Green Tara and the skate ramp and helmet are Jolee's.  I've also added a few pearls.

Seeing the word Anniversary reminded me that I have a desperate need for Anniversary cards in my stash, so I've used the opportunity to make one, using an image from Some Odd Girl, called Hand Holding Mae & Kody.

I've coloured my image with Promarkers, then cut it out with a blade and popped it onto the card with puffy pads.

I've used:

Skin: Violet; Spice; Soft Peach; Oatmeal; Blush; Almond

Mae's hair & Kody's eyes: Burnt Sienna; Caramel; Sandstone

Kody's hair: Cool Greys 3 - 5

Black: Cool Greys 3 - 5; Black

Blue: China Blue; Cornflower; Denim Blue; Pastel Blue

Red: Berry red; red; Lipstick Red

Purple: Aubergine; Plum; Purple

Pink: Amethyst; Orchid; Blossom

White on Kody's shoes: Cool Greys 1 - 3

My papers are from the Maja Design Vintage Romance pack.  My big swirly heart is a laser cut from The Dusty Attic.  I've used my black Promarker to colour it.  I've added 2 gem swirls and a few black enamel dots, plus a few little blue pearls.

There are lots of babies in the 'planning stage' in our family, so I've really been looking forward to turning this image into a card, in preparation.
