THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #418: CIRCLE IT

Good Morning crafters!

Our fun theme this week is:

 CIRCLE IT!

We'd like to see circles somewhere on your creation

I've chosen a circular image and sentiment for my card.  The image is called Aries.  I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out with a blade.

I typed the sentiment up on my computer, in Clicker Script font.

My papers are from the Stamperia Provence paper pack.  I've used two ribbons from my stash - one across the woodgrain paper and another for the bow.  I've also added Simplicity lace to both sides of the centre panel.

My flowers are a mix from Little Birdie, Green Tara and KaiserCraft.  Now ordinarily I would then reach for my pearls, but the background paper is so pretty with its rose vines, that I thought they'd get a little lost, so I stopped right there.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS POPPI MAE

This beautiful image from Digi Doodle Studios is called Poppi Mae.  I have coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the The Paper Tree Where Wild Roses Grow paper pack.

I've added two strips of lace and overlapped them.  The white is 49 and Market, and the pink is Rosie's Studio.  My flowers are Green Tara, and the two white swirls are AnnaBelle.  I've also added a few little pearls.

PAPER NEST DOLLS DOG WALKER EMMA

A few weeks ago I posted a card for cat lovers, and mentioned that I planned to do one for dog lovers.

This fun image from Paper Nest Dolls is called Dog Walker Emma.  I have coloured the image with markers and used a Poppy Crafts stitched edge die to cut it out.

My papers are from the PhotoPlay Fetch paper pack.  I've added a strip of 49 and Market lace.  The two dimensional stickers are Creative Mates, and the adorable little paw prints are Dress It Up buttons.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #466

This gorgeous image is called Lilly Mermaid.   

I have coloured the image with markers and used an underwater background technique from the Underwater Magic markers class from Kit & Clowder.  I did the beads in her hair and around her arms and tail, with gel pens.  You may be able to spot a bit of smudging around the beads on her tail, in the close up pic - I stupidly leaned on them while they were still wet.  

I've used an oval wonky stitches die from Creative Dies to cut the image out and allowed her tail to extend beyond the oval.  

My paper is from the Bo Bunny Down By The Sea paper pack.  The beautiful corner scenes are all from one Studio Light die, which I cut apart.  I then drew in the white stitching with a gel pen.  The coral and jelly fish are from the same range of Studio Light dies.  I've added Prima flowers and Prima Say It In Crystals gems.

 And as you can see above, mine is LILAC with BROWN!  But let's be completely honest here, my favourite colour combo changes all the time!

I have used a gorgeous image called Bouquet.

I have used the following Promarkers to colour my image:

Brown: Burnt Sienna; Caramel; Sandstone

Purple: Purple; Amethyst; Lilac

Baby's Breath: Green; Mint Green; Pastel Green (plus white gel pen)

Green Leaves: Pine; Forest Green; Apple

White: Cool Greys 1 - 3; Blender

White Flower Centres: Burnt Sienna; Pumpkin; Amber; Sunflower

Pink: Mulberry; Fuschia; Blossom

Blue: French Navy; Aegean; Sky Blue

Blue Flower Centres: Cool Greys 4 & 5

I've also gone in with a white pencil to add a bit of highlighting to the bow and leaves.

My papers are from two paper packs:  The white woodgrain and the lilac paper are from the Stamperia Provence pack, and the brown woodgrain paper is from the Craft Consortium Wood Textures pack.

I've used a KaiserCraft circle die for the paper behind the image, and inked all my paper edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  I've added a piece of cheesecloth and two Creative Scrapbooking resin corners.

MORGAN'S ARTWORLD MARCH CHALLENGE: ANYTHING GOES

 Our March challenge has gone live and we're showcasing a beautiful set of images for you this month!

This one is called Fantasy Fae Digi Stamp 57.  I have coloured the image with markers and then cut it out with a blade.  It is mounted onto the background with puffy pads.

My paper is from the Celebr8 New Beginnings paper pack.  My flowers are Green Tara.  I've also added a few loose pearls and pearl swirls.

MY BESTIES AUSSIE'S MARCH CHALLENGE

This sweet My Besties image is called Knobby Knee Img 3635.  I have coloured the image with markers and used a Creative Dies Wonky Stitches oval die to cut it out.  I've inked the edges of the image oval and my papers with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Purr-fect Posies collection.  I've added a wonderful soft tassled Simplicity lace strip, and Bella! Bling pearl swirls.  

The photo goodies are all KaiserCraft.  I have sprayed them with white Gesso.  My flowers are a mix of Prima and Green Tara.
