DIGI CHOOSDAY WEEK 37

Hi There Crafters!

Tuesday has rolled around again, and we're 37 weeks into the year!  The exciting news is that we have another ANYTHING GOES challenge starting at Digi Choosday today, and a super DISCOUNT CODE waiting for you, valid for 24 hours!

Probably the most rewarding card to make is one for a little person, and that's what the team are showing off this week.

I love using number shapes as my card base, when I make a card for a child.  I cut this number 2 on my Cameo, using the PN Kingdom Come Stencil font.  I doubled up the number to created the card base.

I've used a sweet little bear called Etty Friends from the Winston Bear Collection and coloured the image with markers.  I originally cut out the image using a rectangle die, but it took up far too much of my number base, so I cut out the image by hand instead.  

My papers are also from the Winston Bear Collection.  The cute sentiment is from the Lily Bug Love Collection.  I've used a Sizzix die to cut out the sentiment.

I've added teeny wooden ladybirds and Dress It Up flower buttons.

This beautiful image is from Cute As A Button.  She's called Give Thanks, and I have coloured her with markers.  She is the current freebie for the Cute As A Button Facebook Progressive Challenge.  The beautiful sentiment is included with the image.  

My papers are from the Prima Amber Moon pack. My flowers are also Prima, and the butterflies are Petaloo.  They have been in my stash for so long, the puffy pads behind them are disintegrating!  I'm so glad they finally found their card!

I have a Cute As A Button image to share with you today.  It's called Breakfast For Mom Or Dad, and I have coloured the image with markers.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #352: MAKE IT BLOOM

Hi There Crafters!

This week at The Paper Shelter we'd like to see some flowers on your project, in our new challenge for the week: MAKE IT BLOOM

I have used Charming Spring Girl on my Z-fold card, and coloured her with markers.  I've used a Spellbinders die to cut her out, and used the same die cut frame for the message box inside the card.  

My paper is from the DCWV Wild & Fancy pack.  I've used an assortment of flowers from Prima, 49 and Market, Green Tara and Little Birdie.  I've placed the flowers on the bottom right to be able to hook the image frame.

I've also used a KaiserCraft flower wreath die on the middle panel and added a few random pearls.

I have a Dr. Digi's image to share with you today.  It's called Happy Hour Horrace, and I've coloured it with markers.  I've added a bit of stubble on face and used a Tim Holtz stencil with Distress Ink to create the brick wall behind him.

My papers are from the Carta Bella Work Hard Play Hard pack.  I've used a KaiserCraft circle die to cut out the image and a Spellbinders die to cut out the sentiment.  The fabulous beer bottles and caps are Jolee's.

DIGI CHOOSDAY WEEK 35: ANYTHING GOES

This week the Digi Choosday team have a bit of bling to show off.

I've used Eden Blossoms from the Eden Collection and papers from the Helga Hippo Collection.  I've coloured Eden with markers, and added a garden trellis behind her.

I've used two gem swirls and a few random gems for my bling.  I've also added a ribbon and bold flowers (49 and Market and Ribtex)
