Good Morning crafty people!
We have two fantastic sponsors this week, both of whom are offering prizes for our lucky winners!
and
I've used a wonderful image from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, called DumbBell Derek to make a birthday card for my father-in-law. He did quite a bit of weight lifting when he was younger. He's as skinny as a rake, so I think he'll get a good laugh out of tubby Derek.
I have coloured the image with markers and then cut it out and attached it to the card with puffy pads.
My papers are from the Wild Rose Studio Man About Town pack. I've manipulated a Spellbinders die to fit my sentiment, which I typed up myself. The attached the sentiment using eyelets and a ribbon. The word 'dad' is made up of glittery chipboard stickers from American Crafts. I've added a few black pearls to finish it off.
The team have put together a few fabulous cards, showcasing images from our sponsors this week, so be sure to click the Penny's banner to pop over for a look, or head straight to our sponsors by using their logos.
Thanks so much for popping in for a look today!
Linda

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love how you've coloured the dumbbells - so much dimension!
ReplyDeleteI had to smile and I'm sure your father in law smiled and loved it too. What a fun image! As always, I'm in awe of your colouring! I love the papers. I need to get that paper pad. I have tons of paper but never seem to find one when I need to make a guy card. Thanks for sharing this fun card.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day.
