PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #381: ANYTHING GOES

Hi Everybody!

This week at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges, we have two wonderful sponsors giving aways prizes:

are giving away 1 uncoloured digi, and

are giving away a $10 store voucher

This week I'd like to show you an adorable Sasayaki Glitter image, called Ice Cream Time!

I love making children's cards, because it always looks so great to use the age number as the base card, which is what I did here.  I cut the number on my Cricut.  The zig zag paper is from the DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies stack.  My character has been coloured with markers and then fussy cut.  The only other thing I added to the card was a shaker sticker tag which I've had in my stash for years.

Both our sponsors this week have gorgeous images that you simply have to check out, so pop along to their stores to check them out.  You can click on their logos above.  To see what the rest of the Penny's team have created for your inspiration this week, and to enter your creation, just pop back to the blog.

Happy Crafting!

Thanks so much for popping by for a look!

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #366: ANYTHING GOES

Hi Everybody!

If you pop over to Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges, you'll find this week's challenge waiting for you, and we have 2 fantastic prizes up for grabs!

offering 1 uncoloured image of the winner's choice,
and

You can click on either of the pics to go directly to the stores to see their gorgeous images.

I got to work with 2 Sasayaki Glitter images this week.  First I'd like to present Baby Elly's Birthday, which I have coloured with markers.

My paper is from the Sugar & Spice Studio Baby Girl pack.  I added a strip of lace across the middle, 3 little Dress It Up butterfly buttons, toy trains by Jolee's, and a birthday sentiment from Dovecraft.  I wanted to keep this card nice and simple, since it's intended for a one-year-old.

Next I'd like to present Valentine Elly, also coloured with markers.

Elly is recessed from the frame, which I cut on my Cameo - as though you're looking out a window at him.  The dotty paper is from the DCWV Floral Paradise pack.  The brick background was made using a Tim Holtz stencil and distress ink.  The heart swirl was cut on my Cameo, and I typed up the sentiment.  The stitched frame around the sentiment is a Poppy Crafts die.

How adorable are these images!!!

To enter the challenge, head over to Penny's, where you can also see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration.  Good luck!

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #411: ALL IN A DAY'S WORK

It's time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers, and this week I got to choose the theme!

I have chosen: All in a Day's Work!

I would like to see any creation depicting a career: fireman, painter, gardener, housewife, chef... the options are endless!

To give you a little inspiration this week, I decided to go with Librarian.

Our sponsor this week is Sasayaki Glitter

and they are offering our lucky winner 1 digi stamp of their choice

I chose The Library Girl for my card.  I have coloured her with ProMarkers, and added Glossy Accents to her glasses.  The computer screen card was cut on my Cameo.  I decided to use book-looking paper on the computer screen, to link the concepts of good old fashioned paper books and the more modern computer-based reading.  The paper comes from the DCWV Snapshot Stack.  'Happy Birthday' is a Sweet 'n Sassy stamp.  The rest of my library elements are Jolee's stickers (my favourite!)  The white flowers are Jenni B stickers and the pink ones are Dress It Up buttons.  They were plain pink, but to keep up the dotty look of her dress, I added the black (permanent marker)

I am SO excited to see what you come up with this week!

Remember that you can submit any type of creation - it doesn't have to be a card.  To be eligible for the prize draw, just follow the theme and use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (ProMarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers).  Please mention which Letraset products you have used.

Be sure to pop over to Sasayaki Glitter to have a look at their adorable digis.  They're so darn cute!  Click here to see another card I made using one of their images: Christmas Roo.

Over to you!  I'll be popping over to see every entry!  I can't wait!

CHRISTMAS ROO

I have used a Sasayaki Glitter digi called Christmas Roo, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  I added Glossy Accents to the gifts and Stickles to the bows.  My papers are from the Wild Rose Studio Wintry Christmas pack.  The sentiment is from the KaiserCraft Christmas Wishes pack.  The glittery corner is a Jeanine's Art die cut.
