DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE: AELLA

We're showcasing a wonderful New Release at Digi Doodle Studios today.  This is Aella, and she's part of the Strike A Pose set available in store today.

I have coloured the image with Copics, and used a My Favourite Things stencil for the background, using Copics and Inks.

The image is framed by a Spellbinders die cut frame.  I've added teeny gems to each dot on the frame.

My papers are from the DCWV Zodiac paper pack.  In the corners, I've stamped a little Clear Impressions film strip.  The two sentiments are from the same Clear Impressions stamp set.

I've added an Ultimate Crafts die cut popping champagne bottle and two Prima Say it in Crystals gem swirls.

We're showcasing a wonderful New release at Digi Doodle Studios today.  This is Niko, and he's part of the Strike A Pose set available in store today.

I have coloured the image with Copics.

My papers are from two different paper packs: The blue from the Carta Bella Zoo Adventure pack, and the  brown from the PhotoPlay A Walk On The Wild Side pack.  I've added a few little Doodlebug Design gems, and two KaiserCraft wood photo corners and the word smile, all of which I've sprayed with white Gesso.

The fabulous film strip is a KaiserCraft die cut.  I kept the die in place to ink the inside.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE: STRIKE A POSE

We are showcasing a beautiful New Release at Digi Doodle Studios this week, called Strike a Pose.  I've used two of the new images on this wedding card: Niko and Aella.

I have coloured the images with Copics and used a Spellbinders die cut frame around them.  

My papers are from the Prima Cherry Blossom paper pack.  The beautiful heart is a Poppy Crafts die cut and the sentiment is a Creative Expressions die cut.

I've added two KaiserCraft photo strip laser cuts and sprayed them with white Gesso.  There's a strip of Birch lace behind the image, and a few Prima Say it in Crystals.  My flowers are all I Am Roses.

I have used a beautiful image from SheepSki Designs, called Forget Me Knot.

This image is so versatile, and each time I tried to settle on a particular theme for my card, I thought of another, and then another.  Rather than deciding, I thought it best to keep it general.  That way it can be used for any of them!

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a wonky stitches oval die by Creative Dies to cut it out, and another from the set to cut out the sentiment.

The sentiment is a Clear Impressions stamp.

I've used paper from the DCWV S Type of Art Stack and a sheet of corrugated paper from the DCWV The Corrugate neutrals Stack.  The patterned paper has been cut using an edging die by Creative Expressions.

I've added three little Carta Bella enamel dots.

I always find it tough to go lightly with my embellishments, but I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS CHALLENGE #36: SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH "F"

Our new challenge for March has kicked off on the challenge blog, and it's going to be a fun one this month.  The theme for the month is:

SOMETHING BEGINNING WITH "F"

I've chosen FRIENDSHIP.

This beautiful image reminds me of my sisters.  I am the youngest of 5 children, with two older brothers and two older sisters.  The image is called Cheers.

I have coloured the image with Copics and framed it with a Make It Crafty laser cut heart frame.

My papers are from the Stamperia Orchids and Cats paper pack.  The 'friendship' sentiment is part of the pack.  I typed the other sentiment, and cut it out using a Poppy Crafts stitched oval die.

I've added a strip of lace along the edge of the card.  The flowers are 49 and Market and GreenT Tara.
