PAPER NEST DOLLS BIG HAIR AMARA

Isn't she spectacular!!!

This image from Paper Nest Dolls is called Big Hair Amara.  I absolutely love her big hair, and the fact that she comes with a kitty companion makes her even more wonderful!

I have coloured the image with markers and then cut it out with a blade.  I had intended on ice cutting a circle around her, but I wasn't happy with the colour I'd chosen for her her background.

My papers are from the Ciao Bella Broccato Estense paper pack.  The sentiment is an Apple Blossom stamp and I've used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.

I've added a strip of 49 and Market lace and Green Tara flowers, Pink Fresh Studio enamel dots and Dress It Up button paw hearts.

WORLD WIDE OPEN DESIGN TEAM CHALLENGE #05

It's time for a brand new challenge at World Wide Open Design Team Challenge.  The theme is anything goes and the only requirement is that you serve on any Design Team anywhere in the world.

I have the privilege of Guest Designing for a few months, and have the honour of using images from our exclusive sponsor, Julia Spiri.

This month I've used Kate and Kitten.  

I have coloured this adorable image with markers and used a Poppy Crafts stitched oval die to cut it out, allowing her hand and kitty's tail (I've named him Cashew) to extend beyond the edge of the die cut.

Behind the image is another die cut oval, using the same set of dies.

My papers are from the Maja Design Celebration pack.

I used a few other dies for this card.  The leafy swirls are Creative Expressions and the doily is Bo Bunny.  I've added loads of white flowers from my stash, and 3 Dress It Up Buttons paw prints.  The enamels dots are Pink Fresh Studio.  I've finished off the card with an oversized bow.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE: VERONICA SAGE

We have a brand new release of beautiful Flower Girls happening at Digi Doodle Studios later this week. 

This is Veronica Sage.

I have coloured the image with markers and used a Poppy Crafts oval die to cut her out.  I've used another of the dies in the set to cut out the sentiment, which is a Stampendous! stamp.

My papers are from the Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics pack.  I have distressed all the edges.

I've added a piece of cheesecloth and a strip of lace, as well as a little doily, crocheted by my Mum.  I've cut the doily in half and laid the two halves next to each other.

My flowers are Prima and the enamel dots are Carta Bella.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #471

Hello fellow paper crafters!

I have used a Hetty Clare image called Smile.  I've added the message.

I have coloured the image with markers and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My papers and the tag are from the Heartfelt Creations Raindrops on Roses paper pack.  The two swirls are Little Birdie laser cuts.  I decided to leave them 'raw', but they actually come pre-primed, which was perfect for me anyway.

My flowers are 49 and Market, and I've added a few pearls.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE: ROSALIE PEARL

This gorgeous image is part of a New Release of Flower Girls at Digi Doodle Studios.  The image is called Rosalie Pearl.  She'll be available in store later this week.  

I have coloured the image with markers and used a wonky stitches die by Creative Dies to cut it out.  My background paper is from the Scrap Boys Dream Garden paper pack.  I've also added a sheet of DCWV Gauze paper.

The two butterflies are Poppy Crafts die cuts and the picket fence is a Couture Creations die cut.  I've also added a strip of 49 and Market lace and two little pearl swirls.  My flowers are Green Tara.
