SCRAPPING 4 FUN CHALLENGE 207: CHRISTMAS/WINTER

Good Morning crafty friends!

I have the honour of Guest Designing for Scrapping 4 Fun Challenges for the current challenge.  The theme for this one is:

I've used one of the fabulous Christmas images available from our sponsor, A Marshmallow For The Christmas Elf.  I have coloured the image with Copics, and then used a KaiserCraft circle die to cut it out, and a KaiserCraft scalloped circle die around that.

My papers are from the Christmas With Wellington paper pack.  I've distressed and inked the edges.  The snowflake swirls are Precious Marieke die cuts, and I've added wooden snowflakes by The Paper Boutique.  My flowers are from I Am Roses, and the beautiful sheer ribbon was from my stash.

You can find a fabulous selection of Christmas images at The Paper Shelter, so why not head over for a look.

Be sure to pop over to Scrapping 4 Fun to see what your usual Design Team have put together for your inspiration.

I'd like to thank Rachelle and the team for allowing me to play along with them for this challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

SCRABBLING AIDEN

This card is for my nephew, who recently turned 25.

I've used a Mo's Digital Pencil image, called Aiden, and coloured the image with Copics, and then used a Creative Dies wonky stitches circle die to cut him out.

My papers are from the Ella & Viv Graffiti Kit paper pack.

I've used a Hero Arts Oval Peek-A-Boo Doors die for the little sentiment door.  Isn't it awesome!  I bought a circular set too.

The Scrabble tiles are American Crafts stickers, and the sentiment behind the door is a Find It Trading Kampen die cut.

The soda and burger are Little Birdie stickers.

Thanks so much for popping over for a look!

I used a Poppy Crafts stitched oval die to cut out the image, and then inked the edges with Distress Ink.

My paper is from the 49 and Market Irrevocable Beauty paper pack.  I have added a KaiserCraft die cut lattice.  It's actually called Texture Stained Glass.  The strip of lace was loose in my stash.  The ribbon is Offray.

My flowers are all from I Am Roses, and the pearls are by The Paper Boutique.  Finally, I chose a Phill Martin Sentimentally Yours stamp for the sentiment, which I stamped directly onto the paper (while holding my breath!)

That's it from me.  Don't miss this chance to get your entry in for an opportunity to win one of our fantastic prizes, and pop over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have created to inspire you.

Thanks for popping in!  Wishing you a blessed, Merry Christmas!

SANTA'S SLEIGH

I've been trying to pump out as many 'quick & easy' Christmas cards as I can, because I am so far behind this year!  To achieve this, I've chosen a bunch of Hunkydory toppers from the Little Book of Father Christmas, to save me the time I'd spend colouring my own images.

This is Card #2

I don't use these toppers often, but I buy them all the time, because they're all so lovely!

The fun striped paper is from the Echo Park Tis The Season paper pack.  The sentiment banner and poinsettia are Little Birdie, and I've used two Echo Park brads to tie down the sentiment.  I've also added a few Doodlebug Design mini jewels.

Thanks for popping over today!

SPARKLY SANTA

This year has been a wild one for me, and as a result, I am seriously far behind with my Christmas cards.  To pump a few out as quickly as possible, I decided to use Hunkydory toppers, rather than colour my own images.

This fun Santa is from the Hunkydory Little Book of Father Christmas.

My paper is from the DCWV Candy Cane Christmas paper pack.  I've added a leftover ribbon from one of last year's Christmas crackers, and one little Pink Fresh Studio enamel dot.

Thanks for popping in to see!  Back to the craft room for me!

THE PAPER SHELTER 2021 BLOG HOP

 Good Morning lovely crafters!

Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 11th Birthday on the 8th of December!  This will be a two week challenge, with both teams taking part and it's our way of thanking The Paper Shelter for sharing their wonderful images with us, and sponsoring our challenge.

The theme for this special challenge is:

CELEBRATIONS

This is your first stop on the Blog Hop.  Both Design Teams are participating in the hop, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter, and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize for our challenge, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

I have chosen one of the adorable older images in The Paper Shelter's store.  The image is called Happy Birthday to Me!

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Tim Holtz stencil and Distress Ink to create the background for the image.  I've then used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out, and another for the tag.

The sentiment on the tag is an Ultimate Crafts stamp.

My papers are from the Stamperia Little Girl paper pack.  I've added a strip of Simplicity lace and Echo Park enamel dots.  The balloons were cut using a set of Creative Expressions dies.

From here, you will need to hop on over to Christine's Blog.  Don't forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store!

Good Luck!

Linda

SWEET ESCAPE DIGIS AUDREY WITH A GIFT

I have had the honour of Guest Designing for Sweet Escape Digis for the last few weeks, and this is the last card in the set.

Today I'm showcasing Audrey With A Gift.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a brick stencil by My Favourite Things, and Distress Ink to create the background.  I've then used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My paper is from the Ciao Bella Modern Times paper pack.  I cut out the tickets and clapper board from one of the pages, to add as embellishments.  The film strips are die cut, using a die by Jenine's Mindful Art Collection by Studio Light.  I've also added a few Echo Park enamel dots.

You can find the brand new Sweet Escape Digis store here:

If you'd like to see more of these gorgeous images coloured up and used on projects, the Facebook Group is a great place to visit too.

I'd like to send a special thank you to Berenice, for allowing me to showcase her beautiful art!  I have LOVED using these images!

Thanks for popping over for a visit today!
